Science Celebrates “God Particle” Discovery!Scientist believe they have found evidence of what as been termed the “God Particle,” or “Higgs Field.” This particle is believed to be present everywhere in the universe, but almost impossible to see or detect. It is invisible, but omnipresent.

Science is excited about this find for two reasons.1. It confirms their standard model of physics that the Universe is made from 12 particles that provide building blocks for all matter. Science theorized that the “Higgs Field” holdsparticles of matter together to form planets, trees, bodies etc. 2. They spent 4.4 Billion building an atom crusher to find the “Higgs Field”. You wouldnʼt want to spend all that money only to have a pile of crushed atoms!

Christians can join the party!The Bible tells us who created and sustains everything, but not how God created it. When science discovers something about our universe it reflects the qualities of Christʼs nature and essence. The Higgs Field reflects Godʼs power, and omnipresence. “Ever since the creation of the world Godʼs eternal power and divine nature, invisible though they are, have been understood and seen through the things He has made.” Romans 1:20
