Join us to learn about the first release of OEM Building Blocks. These new automation productivity tools can be used to deploy code at different locations and execute at different times. Learn new concepts such as hardware abstraction, virtualisation and enhanced diagnostics. Also learn how to integrate the Building Blocks into your application code leveraging the Application Code Manager.

SY13 Logix Content Licensing 1 hour

Logix Designer is introducing a new way to control access to selected routines and add-on instructions (AOIs) using software licensing technology. SY15 New Automation Productivity Tool - Application Code Manager 2 hours

Quickly build your automation projects using the new Application Code Manager. This lab will provide you the opportunity to create a new project from scratch by selecting library objects and providing configuration data. Once all the configuration (not programming) is complete you will initiate a project bulk build that you will be able to download to a controller to run. This session will also cover how to create and maintain reusable code stored in libraries.

TF09 Creating Custom SSRS Reports Against the FactoryTalk VantagePoint Unified Production Model (UPM) 2 hours

This pick and choose lab allows attendees to select from multiple subjects concentrating on various areas of interest in leveraging the UPM, using SQL Server Reporting Services to create highly integrated reporting solutions. SQL Server CLR (Common Language Runtime), SSRS, leveraging report templates from knowledgebase, and the Unified Production Model will be among the topics discussed.

If you are new to FactoryTalk® View Site Edition, or need a refresher on basics, this hands-on lab allows you to pick and choose from subjects related the basic building blocks for a FactoryTalk® Site Edition application. Topics include screen creation, setting up data logs and trending, alarm setup and configuration, and an introduction to the new HTML 5 version of FactoryTalk® ViewPoint.

If you are an experienced FactoryTalk® View Site Edition application developer, this lab session allows you to pick and choose from subjects related to more advanced capabilities.
