From Duneland Photography Member Steve Bensing:

“I have a story about art and the connections itmakes. I recently put some of my photo cards in theChesterton Art Center for sale. A couple from Fur-nessville was admiring the cards and were immediatelydrawn to a photo of a horse. They both realized simul-taneously, that it was their horse, Fanny. The imageentitled, "The Horse Knows," is a close up of Fannylooking over the fence at me.

This couple contacted me and told me their story. You see, Fanny died just a few days earlier. She hadtouched their lives for many years. Now she touchedmine. I ended up making them a large matted print sothat they could have her seen prominently in theirhome. I really believe that Fanny had a story to tell. She even winked at me about it!”

This was “Lobster” and Canvas, held in June.
