T he 6-foot, 175-pound Cammusois regarded as one of the top

backstops in the area and led theMountaineers with a .500 averageand six home runs, 39 RBIs and33 stolen bases. He was named tothe Mid-Wach A All-Star team aswell as the Central-West All-Starsquad and the Mass. State All-Stars. He helped Wachusett to a15-9 record before the Mountaineers fell to Algon-quin in the Central Mass. Division 1 tournament. Hewill continue his baseball career with Eastern Con-necticut State University in the fall, and after hegraduates, he hopes to play professionally or ownhis own sports instructional facility. He enjoys play-ing pickup sports and hanging out with friends in hisspare time. Cammuso hit a pair of home runsagainst St. John’s, which he considers his mostmemorable sports moment. He’s the son of Pauland Cathy Cammuso of Rutland.

Stephen CammusoWachusett RegionalSenior, Catcher

T he Colonial Athletic LeagueMVP, Keddy lifted the Eagles,

who finished 23-2 on the season,to the Central Mass. Division 2semifinals. Keddy batted .506 with40 RBIs and posted an .802 slug-ging percentage and a .616 on-base percentage for coach RonSilvestri. On the mound, Keddywent 9-0 with a 2.65 ERA andalong with his older brother Ryan, helped theEagles clinch the top seed in the Division 2 tourna-ment. Keddy also earned a spot on the CentralMass. Bay State All-Star team. Keddy is also astandout defenseman on Worcester’s hockey team.His brother, Ryan, is a former T&G hockey SuperTeamer and both Keddys made the Quinn Confer-ence all-star team last winter. Keddy is also a co-captain for Worcester Tech’s football team, startingat running back and defensive back. He is the sonof Tim and Vanessa Keddy of Worcester.

Shane KeddyWorcester TechJunior, Pitcher

L anders makes an incredible thirdconsecutive appearance on the

T&G Super Team, helping theGuardians to the Central Mass.Division 1 title. The 6-foot-7,215-pound southpaw led the CentralMass. Conference with an 0.43 ERAand a 5-2 record as St. Peter-Marianshared the league title with HolyName. Landers dominated in thepostseason, no-hitting Marlboro in the first round in hisseven innings, and then quieting defending championand top seed Algonquin in the semifinals while strikingout 13 in a 1-0 win. Landers celebrated again the nextday when he was drafted in the 18th round by theBaltimore Orioles. Landers has a full scholarship wait-ing at the University of Louisville. Landers and his SPMteammates pitched at the Rogers Centre in Torontothis season, and his time as a Guardian supplied someof his most memorable sports moments. He’s the sonof Bill and Terry Landers of Worcester.

Keith LandersSt. Peter-Marian HighSenior, Pitcher

T he 6-foot-1, 205-pound Lerouxhelped the Rockets to the Divi-

sion 2 state final and hit .406 forAuburn in the regular season. Oneof the top athletes in the area,Leroux also excelled at football andbasketball for the Rockets, earningSouthern Worcester County LeagueAll-Star honors in both sports thisseason and being named Offensive

MVP of the Thanksgiving Day football game againstOxford. Leroux also was a SWCL All-Star in baseballlast year as well, and this year was named to the Cen-tral Mass. All-Star team, the Mass. State All-Star team,and is a two-year member of the Central Mass. BayState Games squad. As a freshman, Leroux helpedAuburn to the 2005 Division 2A Super Bowl, which heconsiders his most memorable sports moment. Only ajunior, Leroux hasn’t solidified any college plans, buthopes to teach and coach when he graduates. He’sthe son of Mark and Rose Leroux of Auburn.

Jon LerouxAuburn HighJunior, Catcher

T he 6-foot, 210-pound McKennaearned Mid-Wach A All-Star

honors and was named co-MVP ofthe league along with WachusettRegional’s Jamie Skagerlind. Duringthe regular season, McKenna went5-1 with a 3.02 ERA and batted.396 for Algonquin. A co-captain forcoach Neil Burke, McKenna alsowas named to the MetroWest Daily

News All-Star team and was selected to the Mas-sachusetts State All-Stars. McKenna pitched a perfectgame this season at Leominster, striking out 11 BlueDevils. A three-year member of the varsity baseballteam, McKenna helped the Tomahawks to the Divi-sion 1 state title in 2006, which he considers his mostmemorable sports moment. McKenna, then a fresh-man, pitched 31⁄3 shutout innings in the state semifinalgame against Amherst. He enjoys hanging out withfriends and watching television in his spare time. He’sthe son of Mike and Susan McKenna of Southboro.

John McKennaAlgonquin RegionalJunior, Pitcher/First Base

E arning Mid-Wach D MVP honors,the 5-foot-11, 160-pound Mile-

wski helped the Lions storm to theirfirst undefeated regular season inschool history, going 22-0 beforelosing to Hopedale in the CentralMass. Division 3 final. Including thepostseason, Milewski went 9-1 witha staggering 0.33 ERA while strikingout 91 and walking just eight. Mile-

wski also hit .380 with three home runs for coach ToddSmith. Milewski is a three-time Mid-Wach D All-Star andhas been on the T&G Division 3 All-Star team the pasttwo seasons. Milewski is also an excellent golfer forthe Lions, and was a league MVP the past two yearsand named team MVP last fall. He enjoys fishing andplaying the guitar in his spare time, and played on aSenior Ruth team that won the New England Regionaltournament and went to the World Series in Arkansas,which was his most memorable sports moment. He’sthe son of John and Peggy Milewski of West Boylston.

Ryan MilewskiWest Boylston HighJunior, Pitcher/Shortstop

M orissette led the Mid-Wach Awith a 7-2 record and a 1.90

ERA as the Blue Devils went all theway to the Central Mass. Division 1title game. The 5-foot-11,185-pound Morissette was on themound for Leominster in that game,which he considers his most memo-rable sports moment. He wasnamed Leominster’s most improvedplayer this season by legendary coach Emile John-son. The southpaw also pitched the Blue Devils to awin over Gardner High in the Central Mass. Division 1semifinals, throwing a complete game while scatteringfive hits and striking out 11. He was named to theMid-Wach A All-Star team. Morissette enjoys playingbaseball and hanging out with friends in his sparetime. He’s also one of the top pitchers this summerfor the Leominster American Legion team, Post 151.He’s the son of Gary and Donna Morissette of Leo-minster.

P iscitelli was named to the CentralMass. All-Star team as well as the

Mass. State All-Star team after going11-1 with a 1.50 ERA and earningtwo saves for coach Mike Daley andthe Pirates this year. The 6-foot-5,190-pound Piscitelli helped Oxfordto an 18-6 record before the Pirateslost to Auburn in the Central Mass.Division 2 final. Piscitelli also stars inbasketball for the Pirates and earned the Oxford HighCoaches Award in both sports this season. He playedtwo years of football for Oxford and was named Offen-sive Player of the Year as a junior. Piscitelli will attendAssumption College in the fall. He said being a part ofthe championship-winning Paul N. Johnson SeniorBabe Ruth team in 2007 was his most memorablesports moment. His great uncle, Bobby Curran,played on the 1947 NCAA men’s basketball cham-pionship team at Holy Cross. Joe is the son ofMichael and Nancy Piscitelli of Oxford.

Joe PiscitelliOxford HighSenior, Pitcher/First Base

T he 5-foot-10, 205-pound Rou-leau wraps up a stellar career for

coach Scott Kittredge and the Rang-ers. The Mid-Wach B MVP collectedhis 100th career hit this season andhit .377 for Westboro as the Rang-ers went 15-6 and won the Mid-Wach B title for the first time in eightyears, a feat Rouleau considers hismost memorable sports moment.Rouleau was named to the MetroWest Daily NewsAll-Stars and the Mass. State All-Star team. In hisfour-year career at Westboro, Rouleau hit .424 with35 doubles and 90 RBIs, all school records. He alsoset career records for at-bats (271) and hits (115) aswell as single-season records for hits (34), doubles(14) and batting average (.508). A four-year CentralMass. All-Star, Rouleau was named to the T&G Divi-sion 1 All-Star team the past two years. He will attendSouthern Connecticut State University in the fall. He’sthe son of Charlie and Kelly Rouleau of Westboro.

A.J. RouleauWestboro HighSenior, Shortstop/Third Base

T he 5-foot-7, 130-pound Sand-erski finished second in the

Central Mass. Conference with a.534 batting average as the Napsshared the league title with St.Peter-Marian High. Sanderskihelped Holy Name to a 16-6 recordbefore falling in the Central Mass.Division 1 semifinals to LeominsterHigh. Sanderski collected two hits

and scored the winning run in a playoff win over Mil-ford. A three-year member of the Naps’ varsity, Sand-erski was named a captain for coach Dan McGowanthis season. Sanderski and his teammates played St.Peter-Marian at the Rogers Centre in Toronto thisyear, something he considers his most memorablesports moment. His father, John, pitched in the JuniorOlympics and was drafted in 1983 by the Boston RedSox. Sanderski will attend Salem State College in thefall. He’s the son of John Sanderski and Tina Gremoof Millbury.

T he 5-foot-10, 185-pound Skager-lind wraps up a solid four-year

career at the varsity level for coachMatt Gull by leading the Mid-Wach Awith a .509 batting average andbeing named co-MVP with Algon-quin’s John McKenna. Skagerlind isa three-time Mid-Wach A All-Starand collected 114 hits over hiscareer, four shy of the school re-

cord and second all-time in Wachusett history. Atwo-year baseball captain, the Bryant University-boundSkagerlind also was named team MVP and earned aspot on the Central-Western All-Star team for thesecond consecutive season. His .509 average wasalso tops in all Mid-Wach leagues. Skagerlind hit awalk-off home run against Milford to give Gull his100th career win, and his 100th career hit was ahome run off McKenna, two feats he regards as hismost memorable sports moments. He’s the son ofGary and Joan Skagerlind of Holden.

Jamie SkagerlindWachusett RegionalSenior, First Base

T he 6-foot, 190-pound Woodwas named the Mid-Wach C’s

co-MVP along with teammate MattJacobs. Also a co-captain, Woodis a two-time league all-star andwas named to the Central Mass.All-Star team after a regular seasonthat saw him post a 7-1 recordwith an 0.98 ERA as the Hawksfinished 14-8. Wood hit a two-run

homer that gave Hudson and coach Brian Davis apostseason win over David Prouty. Also a standoutfootball and basketball player for Hudson, Woodwas named the unsung hero for the Hawks on thebasketball court last winter. He enjoys playing bas-ketball and Wiffle Ball in his spare time. Wood willattend Johnson & Wales University in the fall. Hefondly recalls pitching against Algonquin as a juniorand getting a victory over the eventual Division 1state finalists. He is the son of Richard and TerriWood of Hudson.

Andrews, who went 13-3with a 1.80 ERA in the regular season,pitched superbly in this year’s postseason,tossing a shutout against Drury High in thestate semifinals. The Hawks fell to Ashland inthe state title game. Andrews, who will at-tend Stonehill College in the fall, calledwinning the 2007 Division 2 state champion-ship her most memorable sports moment.She’s the daughter of Darrel and LaurenAndrews of Hudson.

A repeat Super Teamselection, Boris had

another outstanding sea-son in leading Gardner toits second straight Division1 state title game appear-ance. She led the Mid-Wach A with an 0.33 ERAand was great in the post-season. She tossed athree-hitter against Marlboro in the CentralMass. final, and allowed just four hits in theWildcats’ state semifinal win over Amherst.She was outdueled by Lexington’s KikiSaveriano in Gardner’s heartbreaking 1-0loss in the state championship game. Boriswon 52 games in her high school career.She hit .529 this season to rank second inthe Mid-Wach A. Boris pitched a perfectgame in her first start as a freshman. Shealso played field hockey. Boris will attendUMass-Lowell and play softball there. She’sthe daughter of Chuck and Jayne Boris ofGardner.

Elyssa BorisGardner HighSenior, Pitcher

T he 5-foot-2 Bowen, afive-year player for

coach Russ Davis, earnedher third straight SuperTeam honor after batting.472 during the regularseason and leading Hud-son to its third consecutiveCentral Mass. title andDivision 2 state champion-ship game appearance. Bowen, a Hawkscaptain and the team’s shortstop, wasnamed MVP of the Mid-Wach C as theHawks won the league title for the 13th yearin a row. Bowen’s sister, Katie, was Hud-son’s starting right fielder. Bowen alsocaptained Hudson’s soccer and basketballteams this year, and was a Mid-Wach CAll-Star in all three sports each of the lastfour years. Bowen called winning the 2007Division 2 state title her most memorablesports moment. She will attend BryantUniversity in the fall. She’s the daughter ofLennie and Susan Bowen of Hudson.

T his is the first SuperTeam selection for

Bryant, who is alreadyMarlboro’s career leaderin hits, home runs andtriples. The Panthers’junior shortstop led theMid-Wach B with a .538batting average thisspring and helped Marl-boro to the Central Mass. Division 1 final.An all-around athlete, Bryant captainedMarlboro’s soccer and basketball teamsthis year and earned Mid-Wach B All-Starhonors in both sports. Bryant had thetwo-run, go-ahead double in Marlboro’s4-3 win over archrival Hudson High, whichshe counts among her best sportsmoments. Playing at Hall of Fame Stadiumin Oklahoma with Polar Crush 18U Gold isalso among her favorite softball highlights.She’s the daughter of Denise Rudzinskyand Thomas Bryant of Marlboro.

C ordio led the Mid-Wach Awith a .595 batting aver-

age and helped the BlueDevils to an 18-4 record andan appearance in the CentralMass. Division 1 quarterfinals.Cordio served as captain ofcoach Alexis Curry’s squadfor two years and was namedto the Mid-Wach A All-Star

team for the past two seasons. Cordio had thewinning RBI single in Leominster’s thrilling, 1-0,extra-inning win over Gardner late in the sea-son. She also played four years of varsitysoccer, captaining the Blue Devils last fall. Sheplayed one year of varsity basketball. Cordiolists playing at Hall of Fame Stadium in Okla-homa as her most memorable sports moment.An honor roll student at Leominster, Cordio willattend the University of Rhode Island, whereshe’ll major in education and math. She’s thedaughter of Steven and Karen Cordio of Leo-minster.

Erica CordioLeominster HighSenior, Shortstop

D avis was a clutch performerfor coach Howie Klash’s

team during the Wildcats’terrific postseason run.Gardner advanced to theDivision 1 state final for thesecond straight year and won21 games. Davis hit a keytwo-run homer and drove infour runs in Gardner’s 5-3

Central Mass. semifinal win over Holy Name. In aregular-season win over St. Peter-Marian, sheand sophomore Nikki Boris belted back-to-backhomers twice. She hit her first career grand slamin a win over Quabbin. A two-time Super Teamselection, Davis won last year’s Mid-Wach Bbatting title. She also played field hockey, bas-ketball and ice hockey at Gardner. She was aT&G Division 1 All-Star in field hockey last fall.Her father, Jim, a three-sport standout atGardner, is a member of the school’s Hall ofFame. Kayla is the daughter of Jim and KimDavis of Gardner.

Kayla DavisGardner HighSenior, Second Base

T he Naps’ ace had anotheroutstanding season, earn-

ing All-Central Mass. Confer-ence honors for the thirdstraight year and leading HolyName to the semifinals of theCentral Mass. Division 1 tour-nament before losing to even-tual state finalist Gardner. Shewent 16-2 with an 0.62 ERA.

A tri-captain for coach Jill Shea’s squad, Halleypitched a perfect game on April 28. She alsoplays field hockey for Holy Name and captainedthe team last fall. Halley was a T&G Division 1All-Star as a sophomore. Fishing, camping andcoaching young pitchers are among Halley’shobbies. An honor roll student at Holy Name,Halley lists playing for the Charlton Wildfire andwinning the Bash by the Bay tournament inRhode Island in 2006 as her most memorablesports moment. She was named MVP of thetourney. She’s the daughter of Mary and LarryHalley Jr. of Worcester.

Lynne HalleyHoly Name HighJunior, Pitcher

H iggins hit .404 during theregular season and

helped spark Notre Dameduring its tremendous post-season run. The Rebels,10-10 during the regularseason and the No. 11 seedin Division 2, advanced tothe Central Mass. final.Higgins hit a home run inNDA’s wild quarterfinal win over Grafton. Shelists the Rebels’ come-from-behind win overUxbridge in the first round of the tournament asher most memorable sports moment. NotreDame scored 10 runs in the sixth inning for a14-12 win. Higgins and Tatiana Chunis had keyhits in the big inning. Higgins captained coachEd Savage’s squad and earned Central Mass.Conference All-Star honors for the third straightyear. Her interests include music and theater.She’ll attend Rider University and hopes topursue a career as a sports broadcaster. She’sthe daughter of Ted and Wendy Higgins ofWestminster.

Lucy HigginsNotre Dame AcademySenior, Catcher

J oseph led the South-ern Worcester County

League (East and West)with a .556 batting aver-age and helped coachTom Caffelle’s Rams tothe SWCL West title andthe quarterfinals of theCentral Mass. Division 1tournament. Joseph hadeight home runs, 53 RBIs, 82 total bases, and a1.14 slugging percentage. She received herteam’s Most Improved Player Award and wasnamed the Women in Sports Foundation Mas-sachusetts Sports Girl of the Year. Joseph alsostars for the Rams’ field hockey team andreceived the Playtex National Team Player of theMonth award last October. Joseph is also amember of the National Honor Society, Superin-tendent’s Advisory Council, and SADD. She’s analtar server and enjoys snowboarding and shop-ping. Joseph hopes to pursue a career as anemergency room doctor. She’s the daughter ofPaul and Lauri Joseph of Dudley.

Katie JosephShepherd Hill RegionalJunior, First Base

M orcone led the ScarletHawks to an unde-

feated regular season(20-0), the Mid-Wach Atitle, and an appearance inthe Central Mass. Division1 semifinals. The 5-foot-4senior hit .437 and had a.519 slugging percentage,and was named the Mid-Wach A MVP. A two-year captain for coach BrianMacchi’s squad, Morcone was a T&G Division 1All-Star last season. Last winter, she helpedMilford to the Division 1 state title in volleyball. Asetter and four-year starter for the ScarletHawks, Morcone earned Mid-Wach A and stateAll-Star honors as well as a spot on the T&GAll-Star team. Morcone was a member of theNational Honor Society and served as classtreasurer for four years. Morcone enjoys playingthe trumpet in her spare time. She will attendLong Island University-C.W. Post, where she willplay softball. She’s the daughter of Fran andLenny Morcone of Milford.

Kristen MorconeMilford HighSenior, Catcher

M urray batted .551 to leadthe Red Raiders to an

appearance in the CentralMass. Division 1 tourna-ment. She was among theMid-Wach A leaders in hitswith 32. She lists among herseason highlights beatingShrewsbury and defeatingNorth Middlesex in extra

innings to clinch a spot in the Central Mass.tournament. Murray is a three-time Mid-Wach AAll-Star. She plays field hockey in the fall andalso has been a member of Fitchburg’s indoortrack and basketball teams. Her brother,Anthony, played football at Fitchburg and SaintAnselm College. She lists her most memorablesports moment as playing at Hall of Fame Sta-dium in Oklahoma with the Polar Crush. She’sthe daughter of John and Kathryn Murray ofFitchburg.

Katie MurrayFitchburg HighJunior, Center Field

P anarelli was the Colonials’starting catcher for three

years, and was named aMid-Wach A All-Star for thesecond consecutive seasonthis year. She providedleadership behind the plateand power while at it. Sheclubbed two home runsduring a regular-season

game against Hudson. Panarelli served as co-captain of coach Phil Chevalier’s squad. She listswinning the 2006 Division 1 state championshipas her most memorable sports moment. Shescored the winning run in the state semifinalsagainst Westfield that season, coming across onan RBI double by her sister, Chelsi. Panarellialso played field hockey and basketball for theColonials, and was a high honor roll student.Traveling is her favorite hobby. She will attendUMass-Lowell in the fall. She’s the daughter ofAnthony and Carolyn Panarelli of Shrewsbury.

I t was a great comebackseason for Storro, who

missed most of her juniorseason with an injury. Shehit .561 to lead the BlueDevils to an 18-win seasonand into the quarterfinals ofthe Central Mass. Division 1tournament. Storro servedas captain of coach Alexis

Curry’s squad. She got off to a great start in2008, smashing a grand slam and driving in sixruns in an early-season win over Doherty. Storroalso played soccer and basketball for the BlueDevils. She was a Mid-Wach A All-Star in soccerlast fall. An honor roll student, Storro will attendUMass in the fall and major in business. She listsplaying at Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma asher most memorable sports moment. She’s thedaughter of Ronald and Kim Storro of Leomin-ster.

Bamberger scored 49goals and had 22 assists for thePioneers, helping them to the Cen-tral Mass. semifinals before losing inovertime to Shrewsbury. A two-yearCentral Mass. A All-Star, Bamberger played in the2008 National Senior Showcase. It was his nomi-nation to that showcase, as well as his accepting anoffer to play lacrosse at Hudson Valley College, thatBamberger feels were his most memorable sportsmoments. Bamberger will study international businessin college. He comes from an athletic family — hisfather, Rich, played basketball at Hobart College; hismother, Patti, played field hockey at SUNY-Brockport,and his sister, Emily, is playing lacrosse, soccer andbasketball at Tantasqua Regional. Colonials. A two-year captain andthree-year Central Mass. B LeagueAll-Star, Grip recorded 21 goals and24 assists this year to help coachNate Skermont and Shrewsbury tothe Central Mass. final. Although theColonials lost in overtime to West-boro, Grip did his part with count-less feeds to teammates for postseason goals, includ-ing a pass to teammate Alex Raposa to defeat rival St.John’s in the semifinal. It was the second time in asmany years Grip and his teammates ended the Pio-neers’ season in the Central Mass. tournament semi-finals, which goes down as his most memorablesports moment. As a junior, he was named Shrews-bury’s MVP. Also an assistant captain in hockey forShrewsbury, Grip has played soccer and golf for theColonials. Grip will attend Babson College in the fall.He is the son of Steve and Angela Grip of Shrews-bury.

appearance on the T&G SuperTeam after captaining the Colonialsfor three years. Jette is a three-timeCentral Mass. All-Star at midfieldand was a vital cog in coach NateSkermont’s club. Jette finished theregular season with 22 goals and 14assists for Shrewsbury as the Colo-nials won the Central Mass. B title with a 19-4 record— 10-0 in the league. Jette helped Shrewsbury upendperennial powerhouse St. John’s, 7-6, in overtime inthe Central Mass. tournament semifinals. It was thesecond year in a row Shrewsbury ended the Pioneers’season and it goes down as Jette’s most memorablesports moment. Jette also captained Shrewsbury’ssoccer team and enjoys skiing, fishing and golf in hisspare time. He will attend Northeastern University inthe fall. He’s the son of Eric and Emmanuelle Jette ofShrewsbury.

M aking his first appearance onthe T&G Super Team, MacKen-

zie captained the Trojans to a 16-0regular-season record before Brom-field was ousted in a quarterfinalgame of the Central Mass. tourna-ment by Algonquin. It was a tremen-dous first varsity season for Brom-field, which captured the CentralMass. C League title thanks, in part,

to MacKenzie’s 35 goals and 27 assists. It was thelatest trophy to MacKenzie’s credit; he also has a pairof Division 3 state soccer titles, which the Trojans wonin 2005 and 2007. MacKenzie, who enjoys music inhis spare time, said the 2007 soccer title and the finalregular-season win over North Middlesex to cap anundefeated lacrosse season are his most memorablesports moments. Undecided on where to attend col-lege, MacKenzie hopes to study business, finance oreconomics. He’s the son of Greg and Debbie MacK-enzie of Harvard.

An honor roll student at Algonquin,McCann will attend UMass in the fall and hopes to gointo business or possibly pursue a career in finance ormanagement after he graduates. None were more important than his scoreon a pass from Kevin Shunney in overtime againstShrewsbury to give Westboro the Central Mass. title, awin he considers his most memorable sports moment.In his junior year, Mendes was named Westboro’soffensive MVP, and in his sophomore season, heearned Most Improved Player award. A LeagueAll-Star in lacrosse and was named co-defensive MVPfor Division 1 North in football last fall. He enjoysplaying sports and going to the beach in his sparetime. In 2004, O’Rourke was part of the WorcesterVikings Pop Warner squad that won the New Englandchampionship and played in the national tournamentin Orlando, Fla., which he considers his most memo-rable sports moment. B League secondteam with 30 goals and 24 assists before his breakoutseason this spring. The Rams’ captain fell one voteshy of being named an All-American, something hehopes to correct next season. Padro’s season wasfilled with school records — the junior set marks formost points in a season and career, most ground ballsin one game and a season, most assists in a game,season and career, and most points in a game. Rudert helped Grafton to a16-6 record this year and a spot inthe Central Mass. quarterfinals, which he feels is hismost memorable sports moment. Last year Ruderthelped the Indians to their first postseason appear-ance, as Grafton finished 13-4. Also a standoutfootball player for Grafton, Rudert enjoys skiing,boating and snowmobiling in his spare time. Anhonor roll student at Grafton, Rudert will playlacrosse for Clarkson University in the fall andhopes to obtain a degree in engineering. He’s theson of Jeff and Lynne Rudert of Grafton.

together an All-America season inwhich he tallied 26 goals and 29assists for Westboro. Sullivan is atwo-time Central Mass. A LeagueAll-Star and helped the Rangersfinish 17-3. Sullivan was an integralpart of Westboro teams that wonCentral Mass. titles in 2006 and

2008, and those accomplishments — plus the first-ever league title won by Westboro this season — arehis most memorable sports moments. A captain forthe Rangers, Sullivan scored three goals and had twoassists in a semifinal win over Algonquin. Sullivan alsois a standout soccer player for the Rangers and willattend James Madison University in the fall. Sullivanenjoys lifting weights and hanging out with friends inhis spare time. He’s the son of Bob and MaureenSullivan of Westboro.

beach, and hanging out with friends in his spare time.Only a junior, he hasn’t finalized any college plans buthopes to play football and lacrosse when he getsthere, as well as pursue a degree in communicationsand journalism. His sister, Lauren, was also a stand-out lacrosse player for the Tomahawks, making theT&G Super Team in 2007. Emily’s sister, Jennifer,was a lacrosse All-American at Assumption College in2004. Mongeau said her most memorable sportsmoment was beating Algonquin in the CMass final twoof the last three years. S rebnik, who started the season atattack and eventually moved to

center midfield, was a key force inWestboro’s Central Mass. cham-pionship run. Srebnik combinedwith teammate and fellow SuperTeamer Emily Mongeau for 12second-half goals as the Rangersdefeated Algonquin Regional, 17-9,for the CMass title. Srebnik,

coached by Colleen Debish, netted five goals in thefinal. The Rangers finished the season with a 17-3-1record. Srebnik’s brother, Matt, was also a standoutathlete at Westboro and currently plays club lacrosseat the University of New Hampshire. Her father, Bob,played football and lacrosse at the University of Buf-falo. Srebnik will attend Penn State University. She isthe daughter of Maria and Bob Srebnik of Westboro.

Aylaian was named to the T&G Su-per Team after posting an upset victory asthe No. 9 seed at the Central Mass.Championships last season. He turned onthe burners late to reel in the leader andtake first in a time of 4:35.29. Last year,Aylaian broke the freshman cross countryrecord at Nashoba. Aylaian’s father stillholds records at Watertown High in the220 and 440, and his aunt, Allison, alsoholds six records. He’s the son of Dougand Lisa Aylaian of Stow.

She helpedBromfield to its fourth straight Central Mass.title. During the indoor season, Jones ranthe fastest 2 mile in the country (10:31.82)at the Division 4 state championships. Shealso had first-place finishes at the all-stateand New England meets. Jones was theGatorade Massachusetts Cross CountryRunner of the Year in 2007. She finishedfifth in the triple jump at the Central Mass.meet with a leap of 35 feet, 8 inches. Shewas named MVP of her team after accumu-lating 171 points this season. Krumpoch isalso a member of the indoor track team andfinished 12th in the state in the 300 lastwinter. She also competed in the high jumpand on the 800-meter relay team. She was coming off asolid winter season in which she finishedthird in the 300 at the Division 1 statemeet, and was part of the Mountaineers’second-place 1,600-meter relay team. InFebruary, she broke the Wachusett recordin the 300. Coach Lucy Banks calledLeahy “a superior athlete.” Leahy alsoplays soccer for the Mountaineers. She’sthe daughter of Chuck and Jayne Leahyof Sterling.

Orrell captainedthe Woolies’ team thisspring, and also holds the school record inthe discus. She won the Central Mass. titlewith a throw of 38 feet and improved herdistance to 41-9 in the state meet. Orrellruns cross country in the fall, and helpedMillbury to the Central Mass. Division 2 titleand a state semifinal appearance in girls’basketball last winter. She was a SouthernWorcester County League All-Star in bas-ketball and outdoor track this year. Hergoals for next season include breakingmore records and winning the NewEnglands. She’s the daughter of Gary andPhyllis Orrell of Millbury.

This is the second Super Teamselection for Stakus in outdoor track. Shealso earned the honor for indoor track lastwinter. Stakus will attend the University ofMaine in the fall and is planning a career inwildlife ecology. She’s the daughter ofCharlie and Cindy Stakus of Mendon.

She enjoysreading and coaching younger athletes.Stern will attend the University of NewHampshire, and hopes to become a phys-ical therapist.
