Homerun after homerun sent them to nine consecutive Negro League Baseball Championships

Detroit vs. The Major All-Stars

Detroit was the most powerful team in the late 1910’s

They took the second half title in 1930

The title was then lost in 1930 in a defeat against the St. Louis Stars Championship

Was nicknamed Bullet Joe after hissuccessful career in his league

Rogan became the manager and a player of the Kansas City Monarchs

He played for 17 consecutive years on the Kansas City Monarchs

• There were many times where the negro league was at its height

• There were many people that reached the hall of fame

• Although the Negro League ended it still lives on in history and in us
