Inspected all aspects of various sizes of pipe including 4.56" wall, narrow groove, high energy piping. Mentored of co-workers and assisted with training as required. I have also performed the role of Weld Tech. Work closely with Welding Manager on fit-up details and tolerances. Support the piping group with technical information involving bevels and end preparations such as narrow groove J-Bevels, 20/10 bevels, standard bevels, counter bores and min wall dimensions. I have also assisted the QC department in weld inspection, weld mapping, dye penetrate testing and ensuring welds received proper NDE. Ensure welding and NDE is done in compliance with applicable codes. Very familiar with ASME B31.1, B31.3, ASME section IX, API 1104 and AWS D1.1.
