Career background

Trip leader and Outdoor Educator at The Texas Tech University Outdoor Pursuits Center (Aug 2009-May 2012)

Student lead outdoor program founded upon education, learning, and leadership. These opportunities are provided through professionally lead workshops, clinics, cooperative off-campus adventure trips, outdoor equipment rental shop, bike repair station, and indoor rock climbing center.

Organized and lead small to medium sized multi-day mountain biking trips in a number of different regions and environments.

Instructed and educated students on the importance of great leadership in any outdoor setting so that they may use their experience to their advantage in future career opportunities.

Copper Mountain Guest Services Foreman (Dec 2012-April 2013) Oversaw the day-to-day operations of the business including technical aspects, pay roll,

inventory, cash flow, and customer service. Managed a group of employees in order to accomplish the specific needs of the day. Helped to answer any question the guests had about the resort as well as its

operations. Lead my group of employees during the course of their employment at Copper. Set up experiences and communicated with all other departments to make sure my

employees were working in sync with our goals.

Barham Electric Account Specialist (Feb 2014-Present) I worked as a general employee doing electrical work with freelance clients. Managed accounts of clients as well as employees in an effort to keep the company

more organized. Organized transportation logistics in an effort to maximize the available working

time for our employees and vehicle fleet. Gained knowledge for general home electrical systems and mechanics. Managed the projects for subcontractors requiring myself to develop independent

leadership skills.

Studio 7 Project Manger (Feb 2015-June 2015) I managed the Studio 7 office along with client retention and sensitive account

information. My management directly over subcontractors led to the completion of several

projects by their intended deadlines. My ability to solve unexpected problems was critical to my success as a project

manager. A skill that I continue to try to hone and master. Communication was a key component to getting my projects completed. Many of my

subcontractors spoke Spanish, which required the use of my bilingual abilities. Critical judgment skills were an integral part of meeting my completion deadlines.
