11 Coaching/Support Staff Jill Albee Asst. Coach 1st Year Support Staff Former University of New Hampshire lacrosse standout Jill Albee enters her first year as an assistant coach for the Spiders. An America East All Conference second team selection her senior year, Albee ranked 16th in the nation in draw controls and led the Wildcats with 52 on the season. “We are very excited to have Jill join our lacrosse program,” said head coach Stephy Sama- ras. “Her coaching experience, knowledge of the game and passion for the sport will make her a valuable asset to the Uni- versity of Richmond.” In 2005, Albee recorded a personal single season best in goals (44), assists (10) and points (54). Albee also notched a career-best seven goal perfor- mance against Vermont, and was the only Wildcat to record a point in every game of her senior campaign. Albee led the team in goals in nine of 17 games, including 11 multi-goal games. Following her collegiate career, Albee was a volunteer assistant coach at San Diego State University for the 2006 and 2007 seasons before serving as interim head coach at the University of San Diego in the fall of 2007. Albee was also the head coach for Francis Parker School in San Diego, Calif. While there, Albee guided the Lancers to three Coastal Conference Championships and three CIF post-season appearances. Albee most recently was the program director and staffing coordinator of Adrenaline Lacrosse in San Diego, Calif. Albee directed the development, im- plementation and scheduling of all lacrosse programs, as well as established and managed over 40 program budgets. The Pembroke, N.H. native graduated from New Hampshire with a degree in communications. Albee currently resides in Richmond, Va. Former University of New Hampshire lacrosse standout Jill Albee enters her fi rst year as an assistant coach for the Spiders.
