Nothing you morons!!

What’s wrong with society? The unemployment rates are through

the roof. According to Bloomberg Business Week (2009), there are approximate 3 million jobs that employers are actively recruiting for, but so far have been unable to fill.

Unemployment rate - 8.1% Team Building needs to improve for

tackling more tasks. Communication skills will improve our

relations with clientele. Creativity will sky rocket this company

to the top. Problem solving will help us, well,

solve problems.

General Idea We will mainly have classes to

improve on you skills. We will have hands on things in every

class at some time in the curriculum. We will have tests quizzes at the end

of each week or around that time. You will have to take notes (unless we

have hands-on day) everyday on the lesson and you will have a follow-up assignment after.

You will need to have a passing grade in everything.

If you are absent for a day you will have come on when on a hands on day or somewhere you have time.

You will not have a lot of homework but when you do you will need to do it.

You will arrive around 3:00 and leave around 11:00

Team Building is important because A person cannot run the whole company by himself. He needs help a lot of times and it world be an over load of work on the workers part.

A company cannot run if the workers do not get along. They will only fight and not get any work done ad the business will come crashing down.

We are trying to build up this skill so that work can be done more efficient and so that every one has a part.

Each worker can be doing one small part of a big job, with that the job will be done faster because each worker is focusing on one thing and that will get in done faster.

With this skill our business can really skyrocket and all the workers will have that many more friends and be successful at the same time.

Skill 1- Team building

This class will be strictly hands on. We will be building a boat. The whole class will split into groups, each group will have a part

of the boat to build. In the groups each person will be in charge of a part of the their part of the boat. You will have a participation grade everyday. If you do not work with the group or get into fight you will lose credit of the day. Like always you need a passing grade to graduate form this class. Your grade also depends on your peers so make you get your part done and check up on your teammates. The boat will be tested at the end of the curriculum.

What we want out of this is to mainly have fun and meet and learn how to work with new people. You need to know how to get along with people your don't know so that there are no problems in the work place. If fights do break out you may be ejected from the building because we take this very seriously

You will have produced a sailable boat. But be warned, you will go sailing on this boat. Try not to get injured doing this, as it is not covered in your insurance nor will you receive workman’s comp. If you manage to make this boat sail, you will pass the class and will receive a certificate, credits and a free luncheon.

Skill 2- Creativity What is creativity? Creativity- Without new ideas, the

company will stay at a consistent level for a long time and eventually start to decrease in popularity. We need people who can think of ideas to get the public to notice the company. We need a guy who can give society what they want.

The importance in the workplace? Without creativity, the company will

lack pizzazz and will eventually falter into oblivion. We have to stay on top with new ideas to keep the public and cliental happy. Without creativity the public will find us boring and not but our products.

For creativity we will have classes to improve your ideas. Every day we will talk about ideas that have sparked up huge breakthroughs that have made companies skyrocket in wealth. We will teach about how to look deeper into situations to see hidden things that can also start an idea that can help the company that no one else sees. We teach them about long and short team ideas to boost the company. We will interact with the class and simulate some of the employee’s ideas.

From this want to our employees to be all ways be coming up with new fun, and cool ideas for this company so that it stays on top of all others. When people look at company they look at things that make them different form the other. We need people to always be telling us what is the new thing, so that we can make a new product that can fit that new trend and always have an idea for that situation. With creativity the company can be very successful because our ideas really attract the public. Creativity is the key to have products that really stick out and are liked by the public.

Desired Outcome

Communication Can be done in many ways, By phone, talk, text, e-mail, etc. Its important the people

now how to talk to each other so that they can get things done the right way. If you don’t now what your

partner(s) are saying the how are going to get the task done.

Communication will help us get things done faster and more efficient.

Communication between workers can really benefit us by also having a good time with the people are working. The more you communicate with someone the better friends you become. If you are working with your friends you will

have fun while doing work.

SKILL 3-COMMUNICATION

For this skill we will be skydivingOne person will be taught how to use the

parachute properly and one person will be tied up and blindfolded they will have to communicate to in order for the person to be released from the ropes and put on the parachute. Do not worry, professionals will be will be there next to you just in case of an emergency. This will force you to communicate and make sure that you and other people can talk and work together.The next task will be down after skydiving, you

and your partner will have to make a frittata blind folded. One of you will have been taught the proper way to make a frittata . One of the members will have to tell the one whose blindfolded what to do.

Scenario

Desired Outcome If you are reading this, it means you have

survived communication. We wanted you and your peers to be able to talk to each other and develop your skill of communication. We want our business to be very straight forward and easy to work in and with other people You have communicated well with your partner. The credits have been added to your account and certificate is in your mailbox.

Problem solving is when there is an issue and someone fixes it with their knowledge or ideas. In a company there are bound to be bugs and issues that need to be fixed or the company may fail to prosper. Problems cannot be just left alone and not dealt with. The company can be doing great but one little slip and the company goes down the drain. We should have a specific group of people that are there for fixing all the problems that come around. Problem solving can also spark a universal idea for fixing the problem. Problems are always occurring and will always try and harm your company and other things.

Problem solving is vital in the workplace. It keeps the company going when it hits a bump in the road. Problem solving can range from rebooting a main frame, to recovering a presentation to fixing the A.C. Problem solving is what can keep the company going or crashing down the drain. If there is a problem we cannot fix our company will not prosper.

In this skill we will be attempting to boost your skill of problem solving. Like many other skills we will have classes. In groups/teams you will each be given a made up scenario, they all must come up with some ideas to the problem. They will explain the solution to the teachers or advisors of the class and with the advisor give an outcome or result of what happens after the problem is fixed. Is the plan foolproof? Will it come back and hurt the company? Basically we are planning ahead of time. If the idea works and nothing or little can go wrong they will get a certain grade for how much it fixes and how fast it does. Like other classes you will need passing grades to graduate from here. Also meeting will be held every so often about real problems with the company. Depending on the problem, it can be counted as a grade or extra credit. Also we will have more of a hand on situation. We will give teams a broken electronic device such as an iPod, or computer with a virus. They will have around an hour or 2 figure out what is wrong and solve it before time is up. Depending on what type of technology it is and how far they are in the class this will be counted as a grade or extra credit.

Desired Outcome Out of this we want our

workers to all have ideas for problems so that if one is bad we have many to choose form. We want our company to be that one that can fix anything in a second. We need this so that our company does not die of a virus or something. We need a special group of people just for this kind of skill constantly fixing problems that can harm the company.
