JETCO OUTDOOR FURNITURE CLEANING & MAINTENANCE

Our outdoor seating is manufactured with durable rust resistant, all aluminum frames finished with outdoor

friendly polypropylene, textalene, PVC faux wicker and rattan and natural teak. In order to keep your furniture

in good condition Jetco strongly suggests interior winter storage for all outdoor furniture items and

regular cleaning and maintenance.

All Aluminum Seating, Tops and Bases:

• Wipe or hose down with tap water, wipe dry or allow to air dry

• Do not use Ammonia based or abrasive cleansers

• Do not stack tables top to top as moisture will penetrate the MDF board on table bottoms and will warp the

tops

Teak Products:

Teak is a living wood not man made plastic! It requires protection from excessive water build up, sun exposure,

wine and grease stains to maintain an attractive even finish. This means that teak product especially table tops

should be promptly wiped dry after rainfall. No abrasive cleansers or ammonia based cleaning products

should be used. For cleaning prior to oiling, we recommend using water/vinegar solution with a spray bottle.

All Teak finished seating should be hand oiled with Teak Oil on a regular basis. Teak oil will offer protection

against moisture and sun damage. If your tops and seating appear dry or lightening in color its time for Teak Oil.

Teak Oil can be purchased at any hardware store chain. For cleaning prior to oiling, we recommend using

water/vinegar solution with a spray bottle.

Vinegar Water Solution: 1 part White Vinegar to 2 parts tap water Teak Patinas from left to right Natural untreated teak, teak without oiling,

Teak treated with teak oil.
