WHAT CAUSES DESTRUCTION OF HARMONY IN A SOCIETY? Just as our solar system is being supported by the inherent energy given to planets, a Galaxy is sustained by the magnetic force (energy) given to its planets. Intrusion of an alien planet into a Galaxy disturbs the magnetic force of that Galaxy and causes its collapse. Similarly intrusion of a fanatic faith into an organized society disturbs the harmony and the inherent strength of that society leading to its collapse:

PREFACE The famous Niyogi Committee report published in 1956 on Christian Missionary activities says, Evangelization in India appears to be part of the uniform world policy to revive Christendom for re-establishing western supremacy." Therefore Evangelization is not a religious philosophy but a n ideology for po l i t i ca l e x p a n s i o n i s m . The surgel i n religious conversions and k i l l i n g Swami Lakshmanananda with his disciples on 23rd August 2008 in Orissa has served as the latest testimony and it created a fresh momentum to find out the origin and evolution of Christianity.

The irrefutable facts revealed by the western research scholars compiled in this booklet unfolded two stunning facts: 1) there was no real Jesus and 2) Christianity was floated by St. Paul in the 1st century by introducing the ridiculous concept of resurrection2 of Jesus as Christ3 which was formalized (given life) only by the majority vote of the Bishops in the first conference of Nicea4 held in 325 C.E.5

Moreover the theology of Christianity shows that it is an aggressive religious tradition with a scriptural sanction to kill those who do not embrace or accept it (Deuteronomy 13:6, John 15:6 & Luke 19:27). 1 Surge : rush forward 2 Resurrection : A rising from the dead. • The description of violence caused in the first crusade which took place in 1099 C.E. at Jerusalem and invasion of Americas by the Spaniards in the 15th and 16th centuries both mentioned in annexure E on Page 50 of this booklet reveal terrible atrocities committed against humanity in the name of 'God' and his revelations. Such holocausts6 or Genocides7 were committed to capture nations. The psyche of those who had committed unprecedented violence is still continuing and has taken new form i.e. religious conversions for establishing the kingdom of God. Therefore the hidden agenda of Christianity is nothing but establishing its supremacy for political expansionism.

A reader can get vital information supported by salient facts by reading the first part of this booklet which runs up to page 26. Those who cannot spare much time can read at least the conclusion part which runs from page 23 to 26 in order to know the myth behind historical Jesus Christ. This book will serve as an eye opener to the Hindus for knowing the truth and to protect their religion from the attacks of Christianity.

Jesus Christ - A Myth Bible - Not the Words of God Christianity - A Political

    Expansionism

PART I The author, before presenting the truth behind Christianity makes a humble and fervent appeal to the readers not to get carried away by past notions, but to have an open mind and objective approach to know the facts. Hindus, especially Hindu religious leaders have been accustomed to superimpose Hindu tenets on Christianity and see it through the prism of Hinduism. They have to understand the following observation of Late Sri Sita Ram Goel an intellectual and scholar par excellence who had dedicated his life for the protection of Hinduism. He said, "I have wondered over the years why we Hindus have remained preoccupied with the behaviour patterns of Muslims and Christians and not with the belief systems which create those behaviour patterns. We object to Christian missions, but refuse to discuss Christianity and its God, Jesus. We object to Islamic terrorism, but refuse to have a look at Islam and its prophet, Muhammad. I see no sense or logic in this Hindu habit." (Jesus Christ: An Artifice for aggression -Preface P-vi) This is a serious mistake committed by the Hindu Spiritual leaders and Hindu organizations. With this understanding let us look into the truth behind Christianity.

TRUTH BEHIND CHRISTIANITY Christianity is a Bible oriented and Jesus intoxicated religion. The Holy bible has two parts 1. The Old

  • 2 3

Testament and 2 The New Testament. Dr.Umesh Patri, PhD has contested Christian Faith of the Bible with 666 questions. His following brief statements explain the contents of the Old and New Testaments.

"The Old Testament tells the history of God's interventions in the lives of the Jews - "CHOSEN PEOPLE" and The New Testament is about the birth, life, teachings, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, as well as the life and growth of the early church He founded." (Problems in Paradise Page 1) "Many Christians disown Old Testament and own the New Testament for their belief. They forget that without Old Testament New Testament is empty. Jesus too admitted: 'I do not come to abolish the laws and prophets, but to fulfill them.' (Mt 5:17)" (Ibid Page 45)

The Jewish Christian connection was well explained by Sri. Maanoj Rakhit an intellectual par excellence in his inimitable way. He said, "God speaks through Old Testament of Christian Bible. Son of God (Jesus) speaks through New Testament of Christian Bible. . . Those who introduce themselves as Jews they follow the God. Those who introduce themselves as Christians follow the Son of God." (Save Humanity P 76)

Christianity can be precisely understood from the words of Michael Arnhem. He said, "There could surely be no Christianity without Christ, and there could be no Christ without Jesus."(Jesus Christ: An artifice for aggression p 76) Who was this Jesus?

Jesus was the fabricated son of God. He was made to resurrect and become Christ by St. Paul in 49 C.E1. (I Corinthians215:12-15). Christianity has a doctrine3 and a theology4 both revolving around Jesus Christ recorded in the Bible. Therefore, one has to first verify the authenticity of the life of Jesus Christ and the Bible. And then look into the doctrine as well as theology of Christianity. Since the western research scholars have established the fact that there was neither a historical Jesus nor a Christ i.e. Jesus raised after death with flesh and blood, wherever the context in this booklet requires Jesus or Christ or Jesus Christ, it has to be understood as 'Jesus of gospels5, Christ of gospels or Jesus Christ of Gospels' which means the Jesus fabricated and projected through the gospels.

    THE LIFE OF JESUS CHRIST

The birth of Jesus Christ of gospels .was glorified as the immaculate6 birth of the son of God. His death (crucifixion) was considered as an auspicious event for saving humanity from original sin. And his raising from death (resurrection) made him Lord who ascended to heaven 1 C.E.: Current era 2 Corinthian: A letter over brilliant in literacy style 3 Doctrine: A principle of belief 4 Theology : The study of God, Religion and Revelation 5 Gospel: The teaching of Christ: a narrative of the life of Christ, esp. one of those included in the New Testament. 6 Immaculate: Spotless :Unstained:. pure Immaculate Conception: The Roman Church dogma that the Virgin Mary was conceived without Original Sin. and sat on the right thigh of his father Jehovah the Bible God. Thus the doctrine of Christianity having original sin as its foundation and salvation from that sin through Jesus Christ revolves around Jesus of gospels. Therefore one should know the facts relating to the three important aspects of the life of Jesus 1. Immaculate birth, 2 Crucifixion and 3 Resurrection which are briefly presented hereunder.

    1. IMMACULATE BIRTH OF JESUS Christianity claims that Jesus was born to a virgin called Mary who had conceived him to the Holy Ghost. This was not proved by the Bible. The galore of unreconciliable contradictions in the gospels reveal that the immaculate birth of Jesus is a big lie. A few Gospel contradictions are presented in Annexure A on page 40 Apart from that, the following facts will also reveal that Christianity's claim is nothing but a concocted story.

The Hebrew word "Almah" means a young woman according to Isaiah (7:14), but it was deliberately translated as "Virgin" by Mathew (1:22) to project Mary as the virgin mother of Jesus. There is no evidence to prove that Mary was conceived by the Holy Ghost. Since Mary was already married to Joseph, if at all Jesus was born to her, he was born to a couple according to the flesh and blood. The devout Christians cannot accept it due to the fear that Jesus also cannot escape from the original sin if he were born like us. When Philip III and Philip IV asked the Popes to define the immaculate conception of Jesus, the Popes

Paul V, George V and Alexander VII, replied that the doctrine was not definable as it is not in the scripture. (Problems in Paradise P-93)

Franciscans and Dominicans attacked each other bitterly over the Immaculate Conception and St.Thomas Aquinas denied the doctrine. (ibid p-93) Moreover if Jesus were to be the son of Virgin, then the prophesy7 of Old Testament that he will come as a decedent of David (Acts 13:22) becomes false.

We have to look at the issue from another point of view which is the date of birth of Jesus. According to Luke, the Angel announced Jesus Christ's birth to the shepherds of Bethlehem when hey were feeding their flocks at night in open fields. (Luke 2:68) Since the climate of Judea from December to February used to be just too cold to take care of flocks in the open fields (Song of Solomon 2:11: Zl Era10:9,13), the announcement of the birth of Jesus on 25th December by the Angel was not true. Moreover only in the year 354 C.E., Bishop Liberous of Rome ordered the people to celebrate the birth day of Jesus on December 25th.

From 354 C.E., some western churches including those of Rome commemorated the birth of Jesus on December 25th which was already the central festival of Mithraism being the birth day of one of the Pagan Gods-Mitra (Sun God) which was attracting lakhs of people. Therefore pagans' festival on Mitra's birth day was hijacked and appropriated by the Christian 7 Prophesy: To foretell the future.

  • 6 fraternity as the birth day of Jesus. (Idhi Christavam- This is Christianity P 10& 11) However it may be noted that the Eastern orthodox church celebrates January 7th as Christmas. Above all, the western Biblical and Christological researchers have proved that the birth of Jesus itself is a big lie. Irrefutable facts with cogent and clinching evidences discussed and recorded by the western scholars of very high reputation proved existence of Jesus as next to nothing. These important findings have been well compiled and discussed by Late Sitaram Goel in the first chapter of his masterly work "Jesus Christ: An Artifice for Aggression." Readers are requested to read it to know the facts by themselves. For the immediate attention of the readers, a few of the said significant findings regarding the myth of historical Jesus are mentioned in Annexure B on page 42. The last nail in the coffin of controversial birth and existence of Jesus has been hammered by the Dead Sea scrolls. In the year 1947, one of the most significant archeological finds of the 20th century took place at a place not far from Jericho in the Qumran region of Palestine on the western shore of Dead sea (now in Israel). Several jars containing bundles of parchment8 with writings upon them were found. They were mainly Hebrew and Aramaic manuscripts.

s Parchment: the skin of a sheep, goat, or other animal prepared for writing.

7 The Dead sea scrolls tell us that everything claimed for Christianity was borrowed from an extremist Jewish sect (Qumranians) and repackaged and propagated as the teachings of Jesus Christ as though the only son of God. The idea of the Davidic Messiah as the son of God was already there in the Dead Sea Scrolls! The Gospels simply borrowed it and attributed it to their Jesus Christ. Qumranians the members of extremist Jewish sect also expected that their coming messiah would perform miracles like healing the sick and resurrecting the dead. (Christianity's Collapsing Empire and Its Designs in India P-17) Therefore Jesus of Gospels was a synthetic9 personality assembled in this fashion from Qumran texts.

CRUCIFIXION OF JESUS Jesus was said to have been crucified on cross by the Jews, but the traditional capital punishment which was prevalent in the Jewish community was stoning a person and then hanging him with a rope to the branch of a

. tree. Moreover at that time Cross was not the symbol of Christians. It was a Pagan religious symbol found as a mystic cross in the Hieroglyphics a sacred character used in picture writing (Pictorial language) of Egyptian civilization. Christians copied the said cross and started using it for Jesus several centuries after his death. Just look at the fallacy10 behind Christian symbol, the Cross.

There was a Venus temple in Jerusalem where the Holy Cross Church is situated. Helena the mother of

9 Synthetic : Artificial, fake, unreal 10 Fallacy : Deception, deceitfulness

  • King . Constantine had a dream in which she saw Jesus being crucified on cross at that place. Constantine did not think for a while, how Jesus could have been crucified at a place where a Pagan temple was existing even prior to the birth of Jesus. He demolished Venus temple and constructed the Holy Cross Church under the pretext of his mother's ream. (Idhi Christavam P 28 & 29) Then it was considered as the religious symbol .of Christians. Only in 692 A.D. the council of Constantinople declared that Cross is real. (Not symbolic) Jesus Christ: An Artifice for Aggression P-18) Thus cross became the important religious symbol of Christians many centuries after the death of Jesus. Some of the contradictions between gospels about the crucifixions are presented in annexure A. It is also pertinent to note that according to Quran Jesus did not die on the cross. (4:157)

    RESURRECTION OF JESUS:

Christians claim that Jesus who died on the Cross had resurrected11 after three days and then after few more days finally ascended to heaven, but it has no historical support. Research scholars proved that Paul was the first person who had conceived the theory of resurrection. His lengthy letters (Epistles) addressed to the apostles12 and others have narrated the story of resurrection. The first Corinthian13 Letter said to have

11 Resurrection: A rising from the dead . Esp. that of Christ 12 Apostle: One sent to preach the gospeL Esp. one of Christ's first

twelve followers. 13 Corinthian: Over brilliant in literacy style.

been written by Paul in 49 C.E. Says, If Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain and your faith is in vain" (I Corinthians 15:12-15) This clinching evidence reveals that Paul was the first person who gave life to the story of resurrection and there were not many in those days who pelieved it. Now Biblical scholars have proved that the epistles were fabricated and forged ones. (The, Falsified Paul: Early Christianity In The Twilight 2003)

Paul sent a number of frenzied letters to Jewish community outside Jerusalem. These letters were considered very important and incorporated in the New Testament by the Church. It is in these letters that we find the first formulation of belief which became a full- fledged but completely closed Christian theology in due course of time. Christian doctrine was formalized at the 4th century council of Nicaea. Alas! Jesus was raised from mortal prophet to immortal God by a. vote of the collected Bishops. 2 Bishops from Libya voted against deification (exalting14 Jesus to the rank o a God). They were soon murdered by their colleagues. (Expressions of Christianity P 50) Thus, Christianity founded by St.Paul became politicalised even in the initial stage of its evolution in the 4th century C.E.

Some Christians give different' meaning to the resurrection of Jesus.1 According to them, resurrection did not mean that Jesus raised with his body, but it means he resurrected (raised) in the form of Atma. If this is accepted, Christianity of 2000 years built on the dogma 14 Exaltation: Elevation in rank or dignity.

of original sin will crumble like a mansion built with a pack of cards.

There are inexplicable glaring contradictions on thetopic of resurrection of Jesus between Gospel writers and the accounts of so called eye witnesses, quoted in support of the doctrine. Readers are requested to refer Annexure 'C' on page 45 to know some of the contradictions, which have wiped out the false theory of resurrection and ascendance of Jesus to heaven. Thus immaculate birth, crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus reveal more problems.

    BIBLE

Bible the so called authorized James version is a book of 66 books (39 books of the Old Testament and 27 books of the New Testament) composed over a period of 1500 years. Swami Devananda Saraswati a Hindu monk of Canadian birth said, "The New Testament books as we know them today are composite works edited and rewritten a number of times after the Fourth Century Council of Nicaea.... Some years after the Council, Emperor Constantine sanctioned and financed a new edition of the Bible. As there were no original documents to work from (they had been destroyed by Emperor Dioclet-Ian), the Bishops were free to edit, revise, and rewrite the Bible according to their own tenets." (Expressions of Christianity with a focus on India P 50) Covering this fact under a carpet of lies, the Christian fraternity claims the New Testament as the teachings/ messages of Jesus. Since the very existence of Jesus has been disproved, it is a waste of time to discuss any distinction between the Old and New Testament.

However the following commandments in the New Testament attributed to Jesus Christ of gospels reveal that they cannot be the word of God. "Think not I am come to send peace on earth: I come not to send peace, but a Sword." (Mathew 10:34) "He that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one." (Luke 22:36) "I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. And a man's foes shall be they of his own household." (Matt.10:35-36) . Such messages of the Bible had motivated and moved the Christian fraternity to indulge in most infamous crusades15 and inquisitions16. To say a few, crores of native (Red) Indians were exterminated in the North and South Americas during the 15th and 16th centuries and 6 million Jews were burnt in gas chambers during the Second World War. The Church was holding on to the belief that the earth is flat. When the scientists like Copernicus, Galileo and Bruno have discovered the fact that the earth is spherical and the Sun is at the centre of our Universe (Helio-Centric Theory), instead of gracefully accepting the fact, those scientists were persecuted by the Church and Bruno was burnt alive at a stake on 17th February 1600 C.E. This single incident serves as the tip of the iceberg to prove that the Bible is 1s Crusade: Religious war. 16 Inquisitions: A tribunal in the Roman Catholic Church for discovery, repression and punishment of Heresy, unbelief etc.

not the word of God. Many eminent intellectuals had condemned the Bible.

Thomas Paine the author of the famous book "The Age of Reason" said, "As to the book called the Bible, it is blasphemy to call it the word of God. It is a book of lies and contradictions, and a history of bad times and bad men." Abraham Lincoln, 16th President of the U.S. (1809 - 65) said, "The Bible is not my book and Christianity is not my religion. I could never give assent to the long complicated statements of Christian dogma." (Abraham Lincoln: Speeches and writings 1832 to 1858) Since the Bible has been proved as not the words of God and condemned, the doctrine and the theology of Christianity which evolved from the New Testament of Bible should also crumble automatically. Yet we need to verify and negate them with irrefutable clarity and

I ; conviction. DOCTRINE/ DOGMA OF CHRISTIANITY Retaining our understanding about the truth behind historical Jesus and the Bible, we need to verify with meticulous care the Concept of Original Sin which together with the three salient aspects of the life of Jesus, 1. Birth 2. death and 3. resurrection (rising from death), has constituted the doctrine or dogma of Christianity. ORIGINAL SIN: According to Christianity, Adam and Eve were the first ancestors of human race. God created Adam with a handful of dust by blowing His own breath into it. Eve

was carved out of Adams rib without the benefit of God's breath being blown into her. Therefore woman cannot enjoy the same status as man.

Satan an evil force who rebelled against God in the heaven was cast down (thrown) into the Garden of Eden even before the creation of Adam and Eve. Instigated by the Satan, Eve disobeyed the commandment of God and enticed Adam to eat apple, the forbidden fruit of knowledge. Both Eve and Adam committed sin by eating the forbidden fruit. Eve has also tempted Adam to _marry her. This relation (between Eve and Adam) was regarded as a continuance of the evil which brought sin into the world, depriving man of his immorality. This is the original sin which is said to have been afflicting the entire humanity. Woman was held responsible for the downfall of man and ruin of the world. Hence she was dubbed as the doorway of Hell. During the period of 300 years after 1484 C .E., millions of women were put to death for witchcraft. The eighteenth century French Philosopher Voltaire rightly said, "If we believe absurdities, we shall cause atrocities." Inhuman atrocities committed on Woman are furnished in annexure 'D' on page 48.

    THEOLOGY OF CHRISTIANITY

When we look from the profound Hindu point of view, the theology of a religion has to address six salient aspects. 1.God, 2.Creation, 3.Individual, 4. Rebirth, 5. Ultimate human goal and 6. God's grace. We need to verify and find out the truth behind the theology of Christianity. If the theology is proved incompatible, due

  • 14 15to its opposition to the universal facts, as we see hereunder, then the doctrine, which is contentious, gets evaporated. God The definition of God varies from religion to religion. Every religion says "God is Omnipresent17, Omniscient18and omnipotent19. Christianity proclaims20 that God is formless, but gives Him a location by saying, "God is in Heaven". Therefore God is away from this creation. Then how can He be Omnipresent, omniscient and omnipotent? Pujya Swami Dayananda Saraswati (Arsha Vidya Gurukulam, Coimbatore) says, "In other theologies there is not only God but also. Satan, another force. God wants to do good things and Satan puts spokes in the wheel of God. So, saying that God is Almighty becomes lip service. This concept is a ridiculous concept. Even Carl Jung had said "If two were there like even father-mother, good-evil, God-devil, one would limit the other." If something is different from God means that God Himself cannot be Almighty. The power that everybody else has He cannot have and therefore He has got His own power minus your power and everybody's power. Then do not call Him Almighty." (Discourses on Certain Important Topics P 20 & 21)

17 Omnipresent: present everywhere at the same time 1s Omniscient : All knowing 19 Omnipotent : All Powerful 20 Proclaim : to cry aloud

God is not available for our sense perception, but we can mentally visualize his qualities and say, "God is all compassionate, embodiment of love and His grace is available to all." Jehovah the God of the Bible did not possess such qualities. He said,

"I (am) the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before me." (Exodus, The second book of Moses - 20:2 & 20:3)

"Ye shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the people which (are) round about you; (For the LORD thy God (is) a jealous God among you) lest the anger of the LORD thy God be kindled against thee, and destroy thee from off the face of the earth." (Deuteronomy, The fifth book of Moses 6:14 & 6:15)" "... Ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with fire." (ibid 7:5)

Jesus of gospels said to be the son of God himself admitted in his following words that he came to fulfill his Father's demands and murderous punishments. Moreover the Trinity a divine mystery says, Jehovah the father, Jesus the son and the Holy Ghost are one. If all the three are one and one is three, then obviously the character and behaviour of all the three would be same. Jesus of gospels said, "Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill."(Matthew 5:17)

  • 1716

"All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost."(Matthew 28:18-20)

From the above it is crystal clear that the command of the Biblical god was for all time to destroy the altars of other Gods, capture other Nations and to kill those who worship other Gods. Considering this James Hervey Johnson rightly said, "The God of the Bible is; "Murderous, vicious, treacherous, cruel, deceitful and arrogant. No of ordinary good morals could be even a fraction as v1c1ous, murderous, or vengeful as the Christian God." {San Diego: The Truth Seeker. 1980:58, Quoted from 'Problems in Paradise' P 67) Some of the Jehovah's terrifying acts of violence and the messages of hatred given by Jesus Christ are mentioned in Part II of this booklet under the title 'Christian God' on page 27.

CREATION The first five books of the Old Testament called Pentateuch or the law of Torah written by Moses which forms part of the Bible says, "God has created the world in six days. (Gn 1) Sun was created on the fourth day. (Gn1:3,16) How

did God count the first three days without the presence of Sun?

The earth has foundations (Ps.104:5) and pillars. {1Sa 2:8)

Heaven is a solid roof, supporting reservoirs of water. (Gn1:8)

The sun stood still to help Joshua to win a battle." Does it not imply that sun is a moving planet? When Queen Victoria came to the throne, Bible became an exact history book. According to Biblical belief the world was created at 9 a.m. on 23rd October 4004 B.C.E. and the Biblical flood took place in 2448 B.C.E. Later, the explorations made by the geologists and physicists proved that Biblical account of creation was totally a fable and folk-lore. Since the Bible says that God sitting in heaven has created the world, it leads to three problems.

    1) If God sitting in heaven created the world, who created heaven? They have to say God. Then the next question is where God was before creating Heaven? There is No answer;

Sanatana Dharma also says "divitisthan sarvam karoti". It means Bhagavan created the universe sitting in His own effulgence. Therefore it does not mean God sitting in heaven created the world. This is in conformity with the scientific finding that the entire universe is a self generated, self sustaining and self dissolving universe.

    2) Any creation needs a maker and material required for the creation. What was the material used by the God in heaven for creating the world? They say God created the world from nothing. The fact is, something cannot come from nothing.

    3) Since the God sitting in heaven has created the world, He is away from it. Therefore there is nothing sacred in

this world and everything that is here is intended for the consumption of human beings or to serve them.

INDIVIDUAL Christianity claims that human birth is a mere chance. If that is true, we cannot explain the cause for the differences that we perceive among human beings. We find some children having born with good parentage in a conducive atmosphere and others who have taken birth with certain deficiencies or in a non conducive environment. If there is no specific cause for such differences, then God becomes responsible for such discrimination. Can God be the sadist to punish some innocent children without any cause what so ever?

We find everything that exists in this world is governed by the cosmic law of cause and effect. Since a human being is also a part of the world, there must be some cause for his/her birth which we call Punya or Papa.

Christianity asserts that Adam and Eve were the first male and female ancestors of the human race. They had committed sin by defying21 the commandment of God and eating the forbidden fruit of knowledge. Hence it is inferred that every individual being the progeny of Adam and Eve is afflicted by the original sin. These assertions are non verifiable beliefs. Moreover we cannot swallow the statement that the original sin continues with the parentage. This is against the very nature of the creation.

    21 Defying : A challenge to combat

REBIRTH Since Christianity considers birth of a person is a mere chance, existence of soul prior to his birth is ruled out As a natural corollary existence of soul after: a person's death is also denied. Hence one's soul cannot exist separate from the body. That is why there is no scope for reincarnation22 of soul (rebirth). Jesus of gospels was made to resurrect along with his body by the theologians. Resurrection is not rebirth because the soul did not take , up or adopt another body.

GOAL OF AN INDIVIDUAL According to Christianity the soul of an individual is also a newly born one likes his body without prior existence. So, the soul is also condemned due to original sin. Hence one hopes to get salvaged by going to Heaven. Ram Swaroop said "that there is near total silence on the subject of total salvation. On the day of the judgment the dead will be raised with their bodies and nothing is said about the regeneration of soul. He rises with his old body with the same old desires and hankerings23 and infatuations24. If he is an unbeliever he is

condemned and goes straight to hell or fire to a life of eternal punishment. But if he is a believer, he is 'saved' and sent to heaven. . .One of the greatest joy of the 'saved' is that they would watch from their balcony in 22 Reincarnation: to cause the born again in another body or form: to embody again in flesh- reborn 23 Hankering: Lingering 24 Infatuation: Foolish passions

heaven, :t:u'l:believers and heretics roasting in hell. (History of Hindu Christian Encounters P 498 and 499)

The theology says that God exists as the father in Heaven, Holy Ghost and son of God (Doctrine of Trinity). The first Adam created by the God in heaven had committed sin. Holy Ghost sent the second Adam (Jesus of Gospels) to cleanse the sin with his blood. Jesus

of gospels cleansed the sin by getting crucified on the cross: Therefore by accepting Jesus of gospels and following his commandments one hopes to go to heaven. But the sinned man has to confess to get redeemed from the original sin and to have salvation. The essence is one hope to get rescued from the original sin by reaching heaven for eternal life.

in this context let us see the profound wisdom of a Mahatma Pujya Swami Dayananda Saraswati. He says, "These theologies based on beliefs/faith say going to heaven for eternal life is the goal of an individual. Eternal is not like any other word. it means it does not subject itself to time and change. Change means time bound. That which changes is non-eternal and anything that has a beginning must necessarily have an end. If heavenly life is something that is going to happen later after my departure from this world, then it has a beginning and it must come to an end." "Nobody can prove that there is a heaven and nobody

goes to heaven and comes back to tell me "Yesterday I went to heaven". Even if someone says so, I still have to believe him. Since going to eternal heaven is a non verifiable belief, one has to die and then see whether he is in heaven or not. Therefore these theologies do not

really help an individual to live purposeful life here on earth. Yet millions hold on to these beliefs. This is the most tragic thing in this world. To me there is no _greater tragedy to a human being than this, that you can have a belief that is non verifiable and you still hold on to it, commit your whole life to it." (Discourses on Certain Important Topics P 21 & 22) GOD'S GRACE The theology says that one who has faith in Jesus Christ alone is entitled for God's grace and he alone can receive it through mere confession. If mere confession can mitigate one's wrong acts and earn grace, it becomes a ridiculous concept because even a rank criminal can escape punishment by making a confession and become entitled to go to heaven. . What a wonderful justice! Auto Shankar of Chennai a serial murderer became a Christian to escape from his sins, but he could not escape from gallows. Now John David the murderer of Navarasu son of a Vice Chancellor is in queue. Whether divine law is so absurd to allow the criminals to get away scot free25? Let us see what the renowned scientist . Dr. Einstein had said, "l do not believe in the God of theology who rewards Good and punishes Evil. My God created laws that take care of that. This universe is not ruled by wishful thinking, but by immutable laws." (Bharat Heritage News, June 2008.) This is nothing but the law of Karma. 25 Scot -free: entirely free from expense, injury etc.

  • 22 23Pujya Swami Dayananda Saraswati says, "Grace is said to be something which is meant for you. In other religious traditions, grace is imputed to God, the Lord in heaven. He distributes the grace. The question is: on what basis does He decide to give grace to one person and leave everybody else in disgrace. . . Grace is something that ,is to be earned. Either you earned it in the past or earning it now. You have to earn Ishvara's grace as you tap rubber from a rubber . tree..." puja is very powerful in producing the result of an action.

figure existed at some point of time and died on the cross to save the humanity from original sin. Some intellectuals who knew the truth hold on to the irrational view that Jesus is a mythical figure but Christianity is a true religion. This reminds us Sitaram Goel's following apt observation. "Inventors of falsehood enjoy an advantage over tellers of truth, especially when the inventors become powerful and wield big guns/ weapons of big propaganda. Tellers of truth are forced to discuss the fictions floated by the inventors of falsehood."

(Discourses on Certain Important Topics P 18) Jesus of I

myt h did not save humanity, but caused

The above discussion reveals that the theology of Christianity is just a bundle of non verifiable beliefs. A normal Indian believes that God is present in everything i.e. God is omnipresent, omniscient. Therefore, for Indians naturally the following questions arise in their minds. If Jesus Christ was born to Virgin Mary through Holy

Ghost, then how did the Original Sin enter into the divine body of Jesus Christ?

How can Jesus die for everybody's sin? Whether punishing a proxy . is the morality of God or his cosmic order?

If Jesus had willfully died to save humanity from the sin, he would not have cried so piteously "My God, My . God, why hast thou forsaken me?" while he was said to have been crucified. Even though the western Christological research has proved the birth, death & resurrection of Jesus as false, Christian fraternity still believes that he is a Historical

division in the society leading to large scale massacres26 and destruction which were proved by the history. He became a maniac27. But Christians revere Jesus Christ &and claim that the reality of their faith is being proved by its success. This argument is ridiculous, yet it forces us to verify, what is that success and expose the truth behind it. Therefore for the information of interested readers the success story of Christianity along with three other important topics 1)propagation of religion through fraud, 2) Enculturation and 3) How Mythical Jesus became a maniac are discussed in part 4 of this book-let.

booklet from page 1 to 26) reveals that Christianity is nothing but imperialism with masqueraded rank violence for world domination. The much glorified immaculate birth, crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ, of gospels explained in pages 4 to 10 reveal to one's amusement the following bizarre (upside down chronological) order of events, fabricated by the Church historians from the medieval period onwards28. 49 C.E.: The idea of resurrection (raising from death) of Jesus was first floated by Saint Paul (I Corinthians, 15:12-15). It is pertinent to note that the epistles belong to second century and forged ones. 325 . C.E.: The said idea of resurrection was formalised by the first council of Nicaea presided over by King Constantine. Jesus was raised from mortal prophet to immortal God by a vote of collected Bishops. Two Bishops from Libya who voted against the idea were soon murdered. 4th Century: Helena- mother of King Constantine saw in her dream Jesus being crucified on a cross at a place where a Pagan temple was existing. Constantine demolished Pagan temple (Venus) and constructed the holy cross church. 354 C.E.: Bishop Liberous of Rome ordered the people to celebrate Jesus Christ's birth day on 25th December. 692 C.E.: The council of Constantinople declared that cross is real (Not Symbolic). Thus cross on which Jesus

28 The dates, though not conclusively proved, as they have been worked backwards, for conveniences they are mentioned here.

was said to have been crucified was accepted as a Christian symbol many years after the fabricated event. 1854 C.E.: Jesus birth was proclaimed as immaculate birth. This is how the western scholars point out that the events were concocted, designed and fabricated over a period of years in support of the doctrine of Christianity which was reportedly first floated by Saint Paul. Therefore the doctrine of Christianity is a mere concocted29 dogma30. For more details see www.jesusneverexisted.com

Hindu religious groups and leaders are often more concerned about their own particular faction and seldom willing to come to the defense of the culture as a whole. Clearly, unless this situation is corrected the future of Hinduism is threatened or at least severally diminished." (Sri David Frawley- Vamadeva Sastri, Awaken Bharata P 25)

The language of Indian nationalism has to be

the language of Sanatana Dharma before it can challenge and defeat the various languages of imperialism. The more clearly Hindu society sees the universal truths of Hindu spirituality and culture, the more readily will it reject political ideologies masquerading as religion or promising a paradise on this earth."(Koenraad Elst , Negationism in India P 108.)

Hindus have to think. No positive thinking because positive thinking and negative thinking is a pendulum. They have to understand what is wrong is wrong. This is possible only when they know the other significant topics 1. Success story of Christianity, 2. Propagation of Religion through cheating, 3. Inculturation and 4. How mythical Jesus became a maniac. These topics are presented in Part III of this booklet from page 30.

    Part II CHRISTIAN GOD

The God of the Bible (Old Testament) called Jehovah in Hebrew language and Yehoah in Greek language is not at all free from tribal characteristics.

God deceives his own prophets (Je 20:7); sought to kill his own emissary (Ex 4:24); Smote men with emerods (1 Sa 5:8-9); sanctions slavery (Ex 21:2-6); orders slave- capturing expeditions (Dt 20:10-15);.

    e God orders the slaughter of men, women and children (1 Sa 15:3); Sanctions the violation of virgins (Nu31:18);

God commands Abraham to sacrifice his only son Isaac (Gn22:2) With the demand of God, that Jephthah burnt his daughter (Jdg 11:22-35), and David sacrificed the sons of Saul to prevent a famine. (2 Sa 21:1-14) Does it not directly encourage cannibalism?

God Himself tells; "I will not pity, nor spare, nor h we mercies."(Je 13:14) and was cruel enough to order: "Now go and smite Amalek and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not, but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling.' (1Sa 15:2-3)

children, except virgins, whom the men may keep for their pleasure. (Nu 31:10:17-18) Jesus of gospels imbibed the qualities of his father Jehovah. He had sent delusion to people for entrapping them into damnation. (2 Thes 2:11-12)

He said, "Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword." (Matthew 10:34) "lf a man abides not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned." (John 15:6) "But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me." (Luke 19:27) "If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple." (Luke 14:26) "Perhaps men think that I came to cast peace on the world; and they do not know that I came to cast division

"' upon earth, fire, sword, war. For five will be in a house, there will be three against two and two against three, the father against the son and the son against the father. And they will stand because they are single ones." (Gospel of Thomas 16) Vilasa Chaitanya a born Christian says, "About a year ago someone sent me a book by Maanoj Rakhit, 'Christianity seen in a Different Light', exposing some verses contained in the Christian Holy Bible. At first I could not believe they could be from the Bible, but when I checked I found it was true. Nowhere in the Bible does it say 'God loves you', 'Jesus loves You', 'God is love', or 'Jesus is love.' Nor did

29 Jesus say in the Bible 'I am Love' or 'I love you'. It says that Jesus was sent by God the Father as his only son to save sinners. Those who don't want to be saved or who say that they don't require saving as they are not sinners will be damned to hell according to the Bible. This is how Jesus loves you."(Don't let Halleluiah Fool'ya! Foreword & P1)

    Part III

OTHER TOPICS SUCCESS STORY OF CHRISTIANITY,

Jesus of fiction was deliberately casted as a solid historical figure by the vested interests who were the members of a fundamental sect of Jews. That Jesus had promised to come again and rule the earth for 1000 years when the kingdom of God (Christianity) is established throughout its length and breadth. This has created an urge among the followers of Christianity to convert others to their religious faith at the earliest for facilitating the arrival of Jesus Christ.. Christianity was able to convert only 10% of the Roman population to its fold during the first three hundred years of its spread that too through frequent persecution. Then the orthodox Christians, who were now known as Catholics succeeded in incorporating some of the elements of Paganism into Christianity and adopted such fraudulent methods to make Christianity more acceptable. We have seen how Pagan festival of Mithraism on 25th December as the birth day of Sun God was hijacked and appropriated as the birth day of Jesus. Meanwhile Christianity became the official religion of Roman Empire in the 4th century under the Emperor Constantine who recognised Christianity as a means of concurring dissensions within the Roman Empire..

The first Ecumenical conference which was held in Nicaea during 325 A.D. was presided over by the Emperor Constantine. In this meeting Jesus was incorporated into

31 the image of the Christ- the God. (The Indian Church? P 6 & 7) Later, with the state support Christianity reached other parts of the world. The actions of many of the followers of Christianity became not only political but also cruel to the core. During the medieval times Christianity was riding on terror in the name of crusades and inquisitions capturing Nation after Nation. The nature and intensity of crimes which had accomplished its success are mentioned in annexure E on page 50. Meanwhile on account of scientific discoveries and western scholarly research, serious thinkers started exposing truth behind the dogmas of Christian faith which had caused unprecedented violence and destruction in the world. Therefore the church has revised its strategy of violence and started ,. converting people to Christianity through organized institutions under the guise of service to humanity. They have started. educational institutions and hospitals for the purpose of promoting evangelism. This fact was well established by the Niyogi Committee report in 1956.

    PROPAGATION OF RELIGION THROUGH CHEATING

The statement "Jesus Christ got crucified on the. cross to save humanity from sin" brings tremendous creditability to Jesus among the uninformed people. In addition to that, constant powerful Christian propaganda has been projecting Him as an embodiment of compassion and love by using three powerful phrases "JESUS LOVES", "JESUS SAVES" and "JESUS HEALS" which are far from

  • 32

reality. These phrases are intriguing32 because nowhere in the Bible Jesus had said "I came to love humanity, save humanity and heal the wounds of humanity or to alleviate their sufferings." Instead, he said that he came to fulfill the existing laws (Mathew 5:17) i.e. the law of his father Jehovah, the most intolerant and violent God of the Bible. Celebrated Scholar Late Sri.Sitaram Goel gave in his following words the true nature of the character of Jesus. "The rationalist and humanists in the west had continued to point out the Jesus of the gospels as an obnoxious character..... because his sayings divided the human family into two warring camps of believers and non believers (infidels). They were also pained by his lack of sense as well as sensitivity in drowning a herd of pigs and cursing the fig tree for not bearing fruit out of season.." They said "He (Jesus) was also an anti-social character who asked his disciples to desert their ,parents, who disowned his own mother and brothers in public, and who proclaimed that he had come to set the son against his father and brother against brother." (Jesus Christ: An Artifice of Aggression P 66 & 67)

Jesus himself had said, "All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost" (Mathew 28:18-20). Is it not a clear political message covered with religious clothing and implemented in the most cruel manner

32 Intriguing: Indirect or underhand scheming.

33 never heard in the human history? This message served as the very seed for Inculturation by the Missionaries.

    INCULTURATION

Christianity has been following the policy of inculturation since its inception. Inculturation means adopting Pagan or other religious elements in Christianized form in order to ease the transition from such religions to Christianity. Christianity was the first to use this type of tactics systematically as a strategy for conversion. In order to speed up the disappointingly slow process of converting India, some of the Christian Missionaries have designed their churches with temple-like architecture and ornamentation and named them ashrams. The preachers (Priests) wore homespun saffron robes and incorporated in their sayings some Vedic phrases such as; "Lead me from death to immortality". Some of the churches in Kerala depicted Jesus with four hands like Vishnu, the Hindu God. In Tamilnadu some Christians have copied and adopted the concept of Girivalam by constructing a church on a hill at Acharapakkam. Many Hindus especially educated elite fail to understand the well calculated deceptive methods adopted by the missionaries and think that Christians are also accepting Hindu traditions and mode of offering worship to God. It is absolutely wrong. In this context please mark, Robert De Nobili wore the sacred thread, grew his hair in a knot and claimed that he was a Brahmin from Rome. He learnt Tamil, Telugu and Sanskrit. He had forged in the ancient Indian

  • 34 35

Characters, a deed showing that the Brahmins of Rome were of much older date than those of India and that the Jesuits of Rome descended in a direct line from the God Brahma. De Nobili disguised rites such as baptism, the service etc. and succeeded in converting 87 Brahmins and about a lakh others to the Faith of the Christ. (The Indian Church? P 27-28) I

History reveals how Pagan gods became Christian saints, e.g. Isis with the babe Horus became the Madonna with Child. The bearded and horse-borne Germanic god Wodan became Saint Nicolas, later Americanized as Santa Claus." Most of the Church festivals including even Christmas are Pagan borrowings devoid of scriptural foundation. In this process of inculturation, the Christian adapted old forms to its new message, but made sure that through the pagan veneer the Christian doctrine was impressed upon the converts. (Expressions of Christianity P 24 & 26)

' Swami . Devananda Saraswati, a Hindu monk of Canadian birth says, "The Pope has made it absolutely clear in the Vatican document called Dominus Jesus that inculturation and indigenization are the means by which the Indian heathen is to be evangelized. Inculturation is not an effort at cultural synthesis but a means of conversion. Its object is to undermine the integrity of Hindu religion and culture and subsume it into Christianity. It is a tried and true method. It is by this method that Christian missionaries starting with St.Paul undermined Greek and Roman religion and culture and took it over for themselves.

Christianity is parasitical in nature and feeds on the spiritual and cultural body of the society it invades. In the process it destroys the invaded culture and absorbs it into itself. This is what happened in Pagan Europe." (Expressions of Christianity P 47)

Since Christianity is a dogmatic faith, with the collapse of Historical Jesus logically it should end. But such an expectation is a wild thinking. Be use people are knowingly or unknowingly making something worthy out of that which is really unworthy.

Hindu society is now beginning to realize what the Christian Mission activity is really all' about. As soon as Christians become a majority in a given area, they sow the venom of hatred and strife, turning family member against family member, village against villager and instigate their Christian followers to ask for self - determination and a Christian Homeland. This is evidenced in states like Nagaland, Mizoram, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and in other areas in Northeast India. Killing Lakshmanananda and his disciples at Kandanmal in Orissa is nothing but an off-shoot of Christian psyche. Thomas Jefferson the 3rd President of U.S.A. had said, "The Christian God is cruel, vindictive, capricious33 and unjust." 33 Capricious: Changes opinion without reason.

  • HOW MYTHICAL JESUS BECAME A MANIAC Jesus Christ of the Gospels was a mythical34 person but many stories were floated around him. One version says that he had denounced Jews in so many harsh words by calling them snakes, brood of vipers etc. for what? Simply because they refused to accept him as the Messiah! The Christian theology held Jews with a permanent guilt as killers of Jesus Christ. Therefore they were hated, reduced to non-citizens in their own country and subjected to repeated organized massacres. Adolf Hitler inspired by the Jesus of the gospels, almost became an incarnation of Jesus Christ for hating Jews. He had caused the holocaust35 in which millions of Jews were slaughtered and burnt alive in the gas chambers during the Second World War. This made many serious thinkers in the west to look at the gospels as the first Nazi manifesto. Apart from the said holocaust the inspiration for various crimes committed by western imperialism36 in league with Christian Missionaries also came from the Jesus of gospels. Therefore by the middle of the twentieth century, the Jesus Christ of the gospels had become a thoroughly discredited figure in the modern west and Christianity started declining. 34 Mythical: A commonly held belief that is {true. 35 Holocaust : A sacrifice in which the whole of the victim was burnt: a huge slaughter or destruction of life .:(with cap.) the mass murder of Jews by the Nazis during world war 36 Imperialism: The policy of making and maintaining an empire: the power of authority of an emperor.

At this juncture, Rudolf Bultmann of the University of Marburg, Germany one of the most influential Christian theologian of the twentieth century came forward and proclaimed that Christianity is a faith independent of the history of Jesus. His claim revealed the desperate attempt of the Christian theologians to retain their faith inspite of the cogent and clinching evidence that it is false. Please Mark. Rudolh Bultmann had accepted that the gospels did not preserve the actual doings and teachings of Jesus and that nothing could be known of the Jesus of history. He had also condemned any further attempt to reconstruct the Jesus of history as useless. Then he invented another Jesus whom he named as the 'Christ of Kerygma'- the one who preached Christian gospel. He asserted that the Kerygma i.e. preaching of the Christian gospel does not permit any enquiry into the personal faith of the preacher (that is Jesus). Therefore according to Bultmann Jesus was simply to be presented as Lord without bothering about the basis and quality of that Lordship. He also proclaimed that gospels were "faith documents" and hence they should not be subjected to historical scrutiny. It means there is no need for the support of critical history for Christian faith. Bultmann asserted that the Christ of Christian preaching is the risen Lord, not a historical Jesus. Hence Kerygma means proclaiming the risen Lord discarding the Jesus of gospels. The pertinent question is, was there a risen Lord apart from Jesus of gospels? Moreover Bultmann's claim amounts to saying that

  • 38

Christianity began after crucifixion of Jesus. This baseless proclamation was denounced outright by James P.Mackey in the simplest words. He said, "Where does the Christian proclamation come from and where did it get this specific content, if not from the actual, historical life and death of Jesus of Nazareth?" "In simple language, Bultmann asks us to accept a self-evident false-hood as self-evident truth." Michael Arnhem was Pragmatic enough to accept the plight of Christianity. He said, "There could surely be no Christianity without Christ and there could be no Christ without Jesus? But if Jesus were so shadowy a figure as to belong more to the realm of myth and legend than to that of history and fact, the whole edifice of Christianity must surely crumble?" (Entire topic Mythical Jesus compiled from Jesus Christ: An artifice of Aggression P 70 to 77) It is time for the Christian fraternity to recognise and understand Michael Arnhem's following remark.

"one's acceptance of a religion upon blind faith or unsupported trust given one no right to claim the superiority of that religion over any other religion, nor does it entitled one to assert the truth of that religion." Sitaram Goel who made thorough research and well acquainted with the psychology of Christian theologians had said, "Whatever be the facts, the conclusions of Christian theologians remain the same. Christianity, they say, must retain its right to aggress against others." "Christian theologians will go on playing the game so long as the victims of Christian aggression do not tell them that

39 their "risen Lord" and the rest is rubbish, pure and simple, and that the sooner they stop selling this junk, the better for their own morals and mental health."

Part IV - ANNEXURES ANNEXURE A

BIG LIES ABOUT IMMACULATE BIRTH & CRUCIFIXION OF JESUS

Christians commonly use the phrase "Gospel truth" for emphasizing anything, but we find truth is completely missing from the gospels especially when it comes to the birth and death of their hero- Jesus of Nazareth. Let us see what the much acclaimed four Gospels of the New Testament say about the immaculate birth and crucifixion of Jesus.

IMMACULATE BIRTH: According to Mathew when Joseph discovered that Mary was pregnant, he made her to leave his home. Later, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in dream and informed him that Mary had been impregnated by the Holy Ghost. All this happened in Bethlehem.

' Luke's version is different. He says that the angel visited Mary in a waking state, and announced the birth by her of a son to whom God would give the throne of David. Mary wondered how that could happen because she was still a virgin. The angle assured her that she would be visited by the Holy Ghost, and that her son would be the son of God. All this happened in Nazareth.

Mary was already married to Joseph and had several children beside Jesus. This was also mentioned elsewhere in the gospels.

Mathew, who floated the story of Virgin Mary himself mentions after a few lines that Mary was having conjugal relationship with her husband Joseph. Should we believe Mathew and Luke's version of Virgin Mary?

CRUCIFIXION: In the gospels of Mathew and Mark, it was the Roman soldiers who carried Jesus to Golgotha and crucified him. According to Luke and John, he was carried there and crucified by the Jews.

Again, in Mathew, Mark and Luke, the cross is carried by Simon of Cyrene, while in John it is carried by Jesus himself. In Mathew and Mark, Jesus cries loudly on the cross, "My God! My God! Why have you forsaken me" but does not die immediately. In Luke, he cries "Father! into your hands I commit my spirit", and expires. In John he says simply that "It is now completed", and dies.

The Ascension37 of Isaiah composed in stages during the first and second centuries, also says that he (Jesus) was crucified on the tree." This is in conformity with the Jewish tradition which tells us that Jesus was first bound to a pillar and scourged, then stoned to death and finally hanged on a tree. The Gospels cannot, therefore, be accepted as reflecting the time and clime38 in which Jesus is supposed to have

37 Ascension: an ascent to heaven esp. Christ's 38 Clime: a country, region, tract

lived and functioned. What they represent are the beliefs held by certain Christian communities in the middle of the third century C.E.

    ANNEXURE B

Observations of western scholars on historical Jesus

According to Christian tradition, Jesus was a Jew who lived in Palestine during the first 30 or 33 years of the era which is said to have commenced from the date of his birth. Strangely Jewish historians who lived during that time or little later did not notice Jesus and the religion founded by him.

Philo (20 B.C. - 54 A.D.) who wrote a history of Jews knows neither Jesus nor Christianity.

The most remarkable case is that of Flavius Josephus who lived from AD 36 or 37 to 99 or 100. He completed two monumental works- 'The. Jewish War' in 77 AD and 'The Antiquities of the Jews' fifteen years later. Those works also did not mention Jesus Christ. (Jesus Christ: An Artifice of Aggression P 3)

Many western scholars like Albert Schweitzer the world famous theologian and missionary thought that the study of life of Jesus is very very important. They felt if they can establish Jesus as a historical figure, they could bring him straight into their time as a teacher and savior. Motivated by such noble intention they had started pains taking Biblical and Christological research. As they proceeded, to their utter dismay they found that the Bible is a bundle of lies and Jesus who never had any existence is a disposable junk.

43 The search for historical Jesus was started and continued not by atheists or anti-Christians of any type but by pious theologians whose aim was to install Jesus on the firm ground of recorded history. The results of Christological research conducted by them turned out to be disastrous for Christianity. Some of the irrefutable observations made by such scholars are furnished hereunder.

    1. There is nothing more negative than the result of the critical study of the Life of Jesus. The Jesus of Nazareth who came forward publicly as the Messiah, who preached the ethic of the Kingdom of God, who founded the Kingdom of Heaven upon earth, and died to give His work its final consecration, never had any existence. (The quest for the Historical Jesus 1906 by Albert Schweitzer)

    2. The gospel texts are full of fabrications. The earlier they were inserted, the more difficult it is to detect .... When we turn to the earliest Christian sources, we enter a terrifying jungle of scholarly contradictions. All were writing evangelism or theology rather than history. (Paul Johnson)

    3. Will Durant who tried to construct the life story of Jesus from material provided by the Gospels found that many dubious statements of history, many suspicious resemblances to the legends told of pagan gods, many incidents apparently designed to prove the fulfillment of Old Testament prophecies, many passages possibly aiming to establish a historical basis for some later doctrine or ritual of the Church were inserted in Gospels.

    4. None of the gospels could have been (by themselves) eye-witnesses, but instead must have been the work of

  • 44

writers of a much later generation, freely constructing their material from probably garbled traditions about Jesus in circulation in the early Church. (David Friedrich Strauss- Author of 'The life of Jesus critically examined' 1835-36)

    5. Out of four Gospels of the New Testament claimed to be the accurate word of God, Mathew and Luke says that Jesus was born during the time when Herod was ruling the Kingdom of Judea. It is to be noted that King Herod lived in the third century B.C. The other two Gospels Mark and John were conspicuously silent about the year of birth of Jesus. After thorough research scholars found that the Jesus birth mentioned in Mathew and Luke were only interpolations.

    6. Bauer had concluded in 1850-51: "The question which has so much exercised the minds of men- whether Jesus was the historic Christ (Messiah) - is answered in the sense that everything that is said of Him, everything that is known to Him, belongs to the world of imagination, that is, of the imagination of the Christian community, and therefore has nothing to do with any man who belongs to the real world."

    7. G.A. Wells observed in 1986: "During the past thirty years theologians have come increasingly to admit that it is no longer possible to write a biography of him (Jesus), since documents earlier than the gospels tell us next to nothing of his life."

Considering the conflicts and contradictions within the gospels and between them, Late Sri.Sitaram Goel said,

45 the source of the poison was in the Gospels of the Jesus." We have to tell our people the truth about Jesus if we wanted to tackle the missionaries.

ANNEXURE C Gospel contradictions about Resurrection and ascendance

of Jesus to Heaven The research scholars said that there was no mention about the resurrection of Jesus in the original text of Mark. Michael Arnhem said, "If Jesus had been raised from the dead and had appeared to

some of his chief disciples, then surely Mark could not have failed to record it. The fact that this had to be tackled by someone else also indicates that Jesus', appearance and ascension were not known to Mark, whose gospel, it is generally agreed was written about thirty years after Jesus death. In other words, the story of a raised Jesus appearing to his disciples and others and then ascending to heaven was only invented a generation or more after the events were supposed to have occurred." (Michael Arnhem P 74, Idhi Christavam P 30)Please mark the following contradictions about the resurrection of Jesus in other Gospels of the much acclaimed New Testament. Mathew Chapter 28 Mary Magdalene and Virgin Mary went to the tomb of Jesus. Suddenly earth was shaken. An Angel descended and removed slab on the tomb and then sat on that slab.

  • 46 47

The watchmen got frightened and became stunned. (dumb) Meanwhile the Angel told both the Mary's that Jesus resurrected and went to Galili. When both of them were returning in haste, they saw Jesus on the way. He told them to inform his disciples to meet him in Galili. Mark Chapter 16

Mary Magdalene, Virgin Mary and Saloni a third lady went to the Jesus tomb to apply perfumes to the dead body of Jesus. They could not remove the slab on the tomb. Meanwhile the slab was moved by itself. Ladies went into the tomb and found a youth with white cloths at the place where Jesus body was supposed to . be there. He told them that Jesus went to Galili. Later interpolation in the gospel says that Jesus appeared to Mary Magdalene when she was alone. He never told her that he is going to Galili and inform about it to his disciples. Luke Chapter 24

    I '

Mary Magdalene, Virgin Mary and a third lady by name Joanna went to the tomb of Jesus to apply perfumes to the dead body of Jesus. By that time the slab on the tomb was removed. They went into the tomb and found two persons sitting with the glittering clothes. They told the ladies that Jesus had gone to Galili as promised. They went and told the matter to the eleven disciples of Jesus. Except Peter nobody believed them. Then Peter and other disciples went to .the tomb of Jesus. They do not find anything except linen cloth in the tomb. Later Jesus

appeared and showed injuries on his legs and hands. Thus he proved that he came alive. John Chapter 20 & 21

Mary Magdalene alone went to the tomb and found that the slab on the tomb was removed. She returned and told the matter to Peter and John. Then all the three went to the tomb and Peter and John entered into the tomb. They found only a linen cloth (Scarf of Jesus). Meanwhile two Angels with white dress appeared before Mary Magdalene who was sitting and weeping near the tomb. They asked her why she is weeping. She aid Jesus body is missing and turned to a side. Immediately she saw Jesus standing but could not recognise him till he spoke in Hebrew language. Jesus told Magdalene that there is some more time for him to go to heaven. He asked her to inform the message to John and Peter. This means John and Peter had already left the place. Mary Magdalene went to the disciples of Jesus who were afraid of Jews and were staying in a bolted room. Even though the room was bolted Jesus appeared and blessed his disciples with the powers of divine soul and asked them to act as ambassadors.

Again after 8 days Jesus appeared before his disciples and asked Thomas to touch his wounds. Thomas saw the wounds caused by nails on the hands of Jesus and believed him. This shows that Jesus resurrected with flesh and bones. Regarding the above said drastic contradictions between the Gospels, James P.Mackey said,

  • 48 "Apart from the major discrepancy amongst the gospels as to whether the appearance of Jesus took place in Galilee or in and around Jerusalem, all the appearance stories have different settings, details and messages ... there is not even an agreed framework for the appearance narratives within which discrepancies of detail occur..."(Mackey, P 108) (Idhi Christavam P 35)

    Inhuman atrocities Committed on Woman

St. , Paul who is the ;real architect of Christianity said, "Man is the image and glory of God; but woman is the' glory of man. For man did not come from woman, but woman from man; neither was man created for woman, but woman for man (I Corinthians, 11:3-9)" Perhaps this has caused injustice to woman.

    1. Old Christian theologians . classified woman under brutes because according to them woman had no soul and reason. 2. Women forbidden to receive the sacrament (a symbol of something spiritual) into their naked hands and to sing in churches.

    3. Wife beating was a normal practice in U.S.A. The chief of police in the city of Boston confirmed in 1884 that the teaching of Christianity was directly responsible for brutal wife beating.

(Woman, Church and State by Matilda Joslyn Gage, 19th Century leader, U.S. Woman's rights movement p 56, 57 & 333)

    49 4. WITCH CRAFT:

Healers of diseases with the knowledge of medicinal herbs and some kind of magic, charms were dubbed as devil forces by the churchmen. Look at the atrocities committed against them.

It is computed from historical records that nine million persons were put to death for witch craft during a period of 300 years that too after 1484 C.E. Eighty percent of them were women.

Grossest, outrageous and atrocious indignities such as stripping the victims of all clothing, binding them hand and foot, then thrusting pins into every part of their bodies until they rendered speechless by the torture were inflicted upon woman by a class of men known as "Witch Prickers" for finding witch . mark and extorting confession to convict them for witch craft.

Sexual mutilation of accused witches was not uncommon. When the men persecuting the accused witches found themselves sexually aroused, they assumed that such desire emanated, not from themselves but from the woman. (Ibid P 247,248)

People say that those were the acts of medieval ' age. True, but present is in no way better than the past. As the world got civilized, physical torture got converted into mental torture. Let us look at a few 'present deeds.

    BRIDES OF JESUS CHRIST:

"Brides of Jesus Christ". They live a miserable life in convents. Some convents in Europe were veritable brothels which served he sexual needs of the clergy as well as the privileged among the laity.

Pope Gregory found 6000 heads of infants in a fish pond near a convent inhabited by "BRIDES OF JESUS CHRIST". (Ibid P- xix, xx) THE SISTERS OF CHARITY: All the orphans sheltered in Missionaries of Charity at Kolkata were Christians. It reveals that, every non- Christian admitted had been converted to Christianity. Hence Mother Teresa's social service was a proselytizing tool. Mother Teresa had presided over. a network of enslaved females under the guise of Sisters of Charity. Those unfortunate girls were also exported to foreign lands particularly Europe and U.S.A. where women are scarcely attracted for Missionary work.(Ibid P xix)

    ANNEXURE E

Crimes and human right violations inflicted upon the humanity for the "successes" of Christianity.

The 18th century French Philosopher Voltaire said, "If we believe absurdities, we shall commit atrocities." Christianity has proved this statement by committing most atrocious crimes.

    MEDIEVAL CRUSADES- RELIGIOUS WARS

The first crusade captured Jerusalem in July 1099. Raymond D'Aguiliers recorded the slaughter of the Muslim and Jewish population in vivid terms:

"Piles of heads, hands and feet were to be seen in the streets of the city. It was necessary to pick one's way over the bodies of men and horses. But these were small matters compared to what happened at the Temple of Solomon, a place where religious ceremonies were ordinarily chanted. What happened there? If I tell the truth, it will exceed your powers of belief. So let it suffice to say this much, at least, that in the Temple and porch of Solomon, men rode in blood up to their knees and bridle -reins.39(Expressions of Christianity P 105)

    1. Pope Innocent III declared "that anyone who attempted to construe a personal view of God which conflicted with the church dogma must be burned without pity." In 1204 C.E. He had totally destroyed the Cathars and their religion in France by killing nearly 1 million people including woman and children. (The Indian Church? by Virag Pachpore P 15)

    2. The genocide of Red Indians in the Americas, Maoris in Australia and New Zealand and destruction of Maya and Inca cultures of South America bare

As per the writings of the modern historians, the place which we call now as Latin America had population of 9 crores. 85% of them i.e. 7.8 crore people were killed by the Spanish and Portuguese Christian invaders. This figure did not include those who were driven to North America and killed. (Idhi Christavam - This is Christianity P 211)

    3. Bertrand Russell had said, "...there was this inquisition, with its tortures; there were millions of unfortunate woman burnt as witches and there was every kind of cruelty practiced upon all sorts of people in the name of religion." Lutheran Prelate Benedict Carbzov claimed to have sentenced 20,000 evil worshippers. (The Indian Church? by Virag Pachpore P 18)

    4. "Once the Indians were in the woods, the next step was to form squadrons and pursue them, and whenever the Spaniards found them, they pitilessly slaughtered everyone like sheep, ... so they would cut an Indians hands and leave them dangling . . . some Christians encounter an Indian women, and since the dog they had with them was hungry, they tore the child from the mother's arms and flung it still living to the dog ... After all, the Indians were only infidels." (D.E.Stannard, American Holocaust- Columbus and the conquest of the New world, New York, Oxford, 1992, Idhi Christavam P243)

    53

"The Spaniards found pleasure in inventing all kinds of odd cruelties ... they built a long gibbef:4D, long enough for the toes to touch the ground to prevent strangling, and hanged thirteen (natives) at a time in honour of Christ our Saviour and the twelve apostles ... then, straw was wrapped around their torn bodies and they were burned alive." (Ibid P 243)

If we recall the history of Christian missionaries in India, we find the exact replica of what they did to the Pagan cultures in Europe.

    5. Francis Xavier, a Jesuit priest, came soon after Vasco da Gama, with the firm resolve of uprooting Hinduism. Francis Xavier, wrote back home "As soon as I arrived in any heathen village, when all are baptized, I order all the temples of their false gods to be destroyed and all the idols to be broken to pieces. I can give you no idea of the joy I feel in seeing this done." The Church had a special way of dealing with converted Hindus who were suspected of not observing Christian rites with suitable rigour and enthusiasm, or even of covertly practicing their old faith. "... the culprits would be tracked down and burnt alive." 6. Goa Inquisitions:

In a period of about 250 years from 1560 to 1812, thousands of innocent Hindus were killed or burned; thousands of Hindu women were molested and then burned on stake. 2000 virgins were raped and then Gibbet : A gallows, esp. one on which criminals were

suspended after execution. Gallows : Wooden frame for hanging criminals.

  • 54 burned in a span of 3 days! Francis Xavier had said that in a single month he had baptized more than 10,000 men, women and children. He told the new Christians (converted Christians) to demolish the shrines of the idols and saw to it that they crushed the images into dust. (The Indian Church? P 24 & 26). 7. Children were flogged and slowly dismembered (tear or cut limb from limb) in front of their parents, whose (Parents) eyelids had been sliced off (so they couldn't close their eyes) to make sure they missed nothing ... Male genitals were removed and burned in front of wives, breasts hacked off and vaginas penetrated by s:words while husbands were forced to watch... (The empire of the Soul, Paul Williams Roberts, Harper Collins. 1999 quoted in the Saint Business, Rajeev Srinivasan. Hindu Voice, Nov'2003 P 4-5)

    8. A Christian congregation in Arunachal Pradesh tied to poles and burned alive two tribal girls, Komi Simai and Khodang Tikhak who had been accused of and found guilty of practicing witch craft! (Indian Express News, New Delhi August 8, 1996)

Swami Lakshmanananda and his disciples were brutally killed at Kandanmal in Orissa on 23rd August 2008.
