Day 1: Via the Allenby Bridge to Jerusalem Depending on your program and from where you are coming there might be an additional supple-ment for transferring to the Allenby Bridge (King Hussein Bridge). Note that some nationalities need to pay for a visa to Israel at the border. From the Israeli side of the border the Israeli agent takes over. You will be met at the Israeli side of the Allenby Bridge. Drive directly to your hotel in Jerusalem for overnight. Overnight in Jerusalem, based on double/twin rooms.

Day 2: Jerusalem Today you will wake up in one of the holiest cities in the world, Jerusalem. After breakfast you will start your full day tour. Visit the Mt. Olives Gethsemane, early Christian pilgrims located the Gar-den of Gethsemane at the bottom of the slope of the Mount of Olives opposite the Temple Mount. Byzantine, Crusader and a modern church were built successively on the site where it is believed that Jesus prayed to the Father hours before his crucifixion. The modern Church of All Na-tions has a beautiful mosaic on its facade. Continue to The Church of All Nations, also known as The Basilica of Agony, is a beautiful church that is located on the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem right next to the Gethsemane Garden. The church was completed in 1924 using money donated by 12 different countries – thus the name The Church of all Nations. The front of the church, which faces the temple mount, is covered by a large mosaic picture. The mosaic depicts the story of Geth-semane, showing Jesus in the center weeping over the future fate of Jerusalem - the destruction of the city by the Romans (which happened 40 years after this point in history). Of particular interest to Christians is that inside this Catholic Church you will find a large stone slab on which Jesus is sup-posed to have prayed on the night before his arrest. Drive on to the Holy Sepulcher, here the Ro-mans had a temple dedicated to Venus. In the 4th century Constantine built a church when his mother Helena identified Jesus’ tomb. That church was destroyed, and the Crusaders built the pre-sent church in the 12th century; much has been added since the Crusaders left. Before returning back to your hotel you will visit Jaffa Gate. The Jaffa Gate is a 16th C Ottoman gate which is located on the western side of the old city (facing the direction of Jaffa). It is the main entrance from the western section to the eastern (old city section). Psalms 122:2 : "Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem." Overnight in Jerusalem, based on double/twin rooms.

Day 3: Jerusalem—Bethlehem—Allenby Bridge After breakfast drive to Mount. Zion. Mount Zion is located on the south-west side of the old city, outside of the present walls. In Greek and Roman times this was the southern side of the walled city, the place of Jesus last supper and the home of the high priest Caiaphas. Visit the Last Supper room, it is located right above the Tomb of David on Mount Zion in Jerusalem. It is a second story room that symbolizes the “upper room” in which Jesus had his last supper – a Passover meal – with his disciples. Drive on to Bethlehem City, identified as the birthplace of Jesus. Visit the Nativity Church, it is the oldest church in the Holy Land still in use, commemorating the birthplace of Jesus Christ. Since St. Helena is believed to have built the Church of the Nativity, there are others who believe that it was the Emperor Constantine who ordered the construction of monumental churches to honor the three principal events of Jesus' life. The remnants of the octagonal building which covered the Grotto of the Nativity can still be seen in the Armenian Chapel. The Armenian Altar in the northern transept is known as the Altar of the Kings, due to tradition, that it is the site were the Magi Magdalene dismounted. Visit Shepherd Field, identified as the scene where the Angel of the Lord visited the shepherds and informed them of Jesus' birth. After drive back to the Israeli side of the Allenby Bridge to cross the border back into Jordan. Depending on your program you might need an extra night in Amman for example. We will work out all your wishes when you book the Jerusalem & Bethlehem extension.
