2011- Islands Records‘I’m Into You’

"I'm Into You" is taken from Jennifer Lopez’s, her seventh studio album, Love? (2011). The mid-tempo pop song was written by Lil Wayne and Norwegian duo StarGate, who also produced the song. Lil Wayne also has featured vocals on the song, after Lopez identified him as her favourite male rapper. In her attempt to stay popular with her youth markets she collaborates with yet another rapper and a popular one Lil Wayne. The week of June 11, the single peaked at number ten, becoming her fifteenth top-ten single. The single is built around a "synth-heavy beat" and "beachy feel" with a "club-ready” refrain and that the hook of Lopez repeating "I'm into you" will be ringing in listeners' ears long after the song is over. The beach part, is "reminiscent of her 'Love Don't Cost a Thing' video" and the dance breakdown, which included, a choreographed breakdown moment, featuring in her new album track 'Papi‘. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IgLcQmlN2Xg
