You are 10 years old living during the Roaring Twenties (1920’s), a time of economic growth. On October 29, 1929, also known as Black Tuesday, your world comes to a hault. The stock market has crashed, and life as you know it has changed. Your parents have lost their jobs, and you have to leave your home. You are now living during a time known as The Great Depression.

You are a 10 year old living during The Great Depression. Your task is to write a letter to Eleanor Roosevelt asking for help. Be sure to include the details of your life, what you are requesting, and why.
