Don’t worry, it’s not that boring.

At least we don’t think so. You see, this is not your average “annual report” or business presentaon. You won’t find income statements or balance sheets, no cash flow analyses or 10-K informaon.

WhyWhy? Well, JDW, LLC. is a private company, so we don’t have to. Also, financial data, when not necessary, can be so…oh what’s the word...blah. And the JDW: The Charloe Agency report is a 113.7% blah-free.

We have been fortunate to fill a void in the Charloe business community. There are plenty of markeng companies in Charloe, but very few do business in Charloe. That’s where we come in.

AsAs recepve as our crowd has been, the Good Ol’ Boy Network in the Queen City is sll very strong. But now there is an organized anthesis to their voice, and we plan to take them head on.

Support the arts. Support small business. All while having fun, causing commoon and developing mind-#$%̂&*@ creave.

Our purpose in life: - Develop rockstar-caliber comunicaon strategies and creave content for our

clients, elevang them to their highest sales potenal.

- Make Charloe the next sexy city for markeng, cool ideas, and forward-thinking

progress; and leave Charloe a beer place than when we found her.

- Markeng can be edgy…and should be. Communicators should influence society,

not the other way around. Push boundaries. And create new ones.

talk about what “ought” to be done.

- We don’t want to get rich, we want to make a difference. If people like our work

Our biggest success so far for 2010 has been moving our ofice into the most unique small business incubator in Charloe: Area Fieen.

Area Fieen is a 23,000 sq. . small business incubang monolith packed with creavity and whack-jobs. Seriously. Everybody here shares the noon that business can actually help people and that community is important. Cute, right? WWhat’s even cooler is the way these 20+ organizaons approach their days. Area Fieen provides an atmosphere small business needs to grow. JDW is thrilled to call itself a member of the Area Fieen squad and looks forward to the wild and crazy adventures in the future.

BarCamp 3:JDW: The Charloe Agency was the markeng partner for the third annual “unconference” of BarCamp. From flooding twier and pestering our friends, we assisted in making BarCamp 3 the biggest one to date. Discussions ranged from how markeng and a SWAT team are alike, to a company premiering a short film.

WordCamp Atlanta:JDW stepped in at the last minute to be sponsors for the conferencehosted at SCAD Atlanta. The conference featured uses of the blog module Wordpress and the new and excing ways people and businesses use it. Very geek-friendly, but fun nonetheless!

Ignite Charloe:Because of the success of BarCamp 3, JDW was tapped again by Ignite Charloe to be its markeng and public relaons partner. Ignite Charloe is a worldwide event

where speakers get five minutes and only 20 slides (that auto-advance) and like BarCamp, these speakers can talk about absolutely anything…as long as it’s cool.

Social Media Day:A brainchild of an online network sensaon Mashable, Social Media Days were organized

by over 500 cies across the United States. JDW stepped up to the plate as the annoying guys trying to do everything.

JDW believes that community is crucial to being a professional, and more specifically a professional communicator. We are providing pro-bono work for the following organizaons:

The Carolina Tarwheels: The wheelchair sports organizaon of Charloe, the Carolina Tarwheels provide wheelchair accessible sports like basketball, soball, tennis, and golf. They play other cies up and down the east coast and naonal tournaments.

The Opmist Park Community Associaon:The Opmist Park Community Associaon:Opmist Park is the neighborhood where Area Fieen is located. The neighborhood is in need of organizaon and aenon from elected and appointed government officials. Our goal is to create awareness for the community.

And We’re Done!

We hope this snapshot of JDW: The Charloe Agency gives you a beer picture of our progress in 2010. We have had a lot of fun so far, and are excited about our acvity and ideas for tomorrow.

Charloe has been treang us well. And though we started in probably (hopefully) Charloe has been treang us well. And though we started in probably (hopefully) the worst economic mes of our lifeme, we believe that by surviving the punch in the neck the economy gave us, it shows Charloe and beyond that JDW has a strong chin and will stand over the compe on by the me we’re done.

What maers most to us is that people understand two things:

SmalSmall business is at the core of all JDW’s acvies. Yes, we want to grow - every business does - but we will only grow as long as our core does. Charloe has a ton of untapped, under-developed, unorganized talent, and that needs to change.

Creavity is dying. People are liming their choices, and are concluding that what they do know is much easier to deal with than figuring out and discussing what they do not. Charloe needs advocates for creavity. Think more. Talk more. Do more.

And to think, we did all of this in a year. Scary, huh? We’ll see you in 2011.And to think, we did all of this in a year. Scary, huh? We’ll see you in 2011.
