Harold Anglin is doing much better now and
was able to return home from the hospital on
Friday.
Lavonne Welch is doing much better and is at
Friendship Haven, in Friendswood, to finish
her medication and to undergo physical
therapy. Due to the nature of the infection she
is still being treated for, she should not have
visitors.
Charles Huckabee was released from the
hospital and was able to go home on Thursday.
He is still having some trouble with his
breathing, but the doctors said that this is
something he will be dealing with now.
Lisa Jong, Christine Jong’s daughter-in-law,
was transferred on Thursday to Cornerstone, a
long term care facility across the street from
Clear Lake Hospital. She expects to be there 6
to 8 weeks as she continues to be treated for a
very difficult and contagious form of Staph.
called MRSA.
Gloria Wolf was able to go home on
Wednesday. The doctors told her she did not
have a stroke, but they are not sure what
happened. She is weak, but feeling better.
Elaine Baker, Gloria Wolf’s daughter, remains
in Southwest Memorial hospital with serious
complications from her ulcerative colitis.
Doctors are performing tests to determine
whether a viral or bacterial infection could be
the cause.
Tucker Meloncan, Kathy Graham’s grandson,
will be having a sedated hearing test on
February 9th.
Darlene McLeskey had another rotator cuff
surgery last week on the same shoulder that
was repaired last year. The surgery was only
partially successful.

bags of crayons available in a basket on the table in the auditorium.

invited to a wedding shower for Ashlyn Turner-Godeaux, Curtis and Dina
Gardner’s granddaughter, on Sunday, Feb. 21st, from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm in the
Fellowship Hall. She is registered at Target and Walmart.
Lisa Doherty, a close friend of Nikki Spears who has been
on our prayer list for many weeks, gave birth to a healthy baby boy
this past Wednesday. His name is Carter Abbott Doherty and he weighs
8lbs and 11oz, and is 21 in. long. Lisa had some complications, but is doing better
and was expecting to go home on Friday.
We are happy to announce that Richie
Anderson has been hired to be the new Family
Life and Youth minister. We look forward to
working with and getting to know Richie and
his family. We are not certain yet when the
Andersons will be able to move here, but
hopefully by late March or early April.
We are happy to announce that Tracey and Brian Mooney and their son Benjamin, placed
membership with us last Sunday evening. We want to welcome them to our church family.
