This year’s Annual Clinical Nutrition Man- agement (CNM) Dietetic Practice Group (DPG) Symposium is “Leading System Improvement: Optimizing Or- ganizational and Patient Outcomes.” Although Clinical Nutrition Managers (CNMs) have made significant progress in improving the quality of patient care and the environment of care in their organizations, there is still a need for improvement in these care systems. This symposium is designed for CNMs who are interested in learning more about innovative strategies that will improve systems and result in safer, higher-quality care. The topics include 1) leading system change in a complex and highly technological health-care environment, 2) using information technology to advance clinical and management components of health care, and 3) using complexity science principles to build teams.
