Employment History Current Position: Safety Coordinator/SSHO 11/12 - Cajun Constructors, Baton Rouge, La.Kissimmee River Restoration Project S65EX1 Structure W912EP-12-C-0028 Okeechobee, Fl.

The Kissimmee River Restoration Project is classified by the USACE (US Army Corps of Engineers) as a Complex, High Risk site due to the amount of Crane activities, Critical Lifts, and Underwater Diver Assisted Work to be performed. We have been on this job for 2 1/2 years now, incident and accident free. As the SSHO, identified by the USACE (Client) my responsibilities include the planning and foresight required to help support the Project Superintendent with planning Features of Work in compliance with the EM385 1-1 Standards established by the USACE and Cajun Constructors Safety Policies and Best Practices. As the Safety Coordinator for Cajun Constructors, The Prime Contractor I am required to Inform, Educate, Verify all documents required for subcontractors to enter the jobsite. This includes holding Pre-Construction Meetings, Helping Subcontractors Writing their AHAs (Activity Hazard Analysis) and posting in RMS, USACE Feature of Work Tracking Data Base.Verifying Permits, Insurance and any other related documents have been received by our corporate office and submitted to the USACE for approval.All equipment brought onsite shall be inspected by me as an Initial USACE Inspection. This shall be followed up with Periodic Inspections down to Daily Inspections by the operators. All cranes shall have the Annual Inspection verified by myself to be from a 3rd Party; else a new

Annual shall be completed. All operator/signalperson/rigger certifications are verified and submitted toe the USACE for approval. I was responsible for writing the different features of the Site Specific Emergency Action Plan, Environmental Protection Plan. I was responsible for all daily pre-task planning, equipment inspections, weekly near miss reporting, hazard analysis, safety audits, tool box training, and any additional training required. I was also responsible for daily and weekly safety meetings, management of training records, enforcement of the all applicable safety and health standards, and Cajun’s alcohol and substance abuse policy.
