American Express – Hawks Island
To kick off the partnership between American Express and the Seattle
Seahawks, American Express held a unique pre game party on a barge on
the Puget Sound with a performance by the band Everclear.
As executive producer I contracted a barge company, charter service and a
docking location for the barge for a party that had never been done before.
I also worked extensively with the US Coast Guard, the Port Police, Seattle
Fire to arrange permits and certificates for the event and the barge.
The barge went under extensive renovation to convert it from a working
gravel barge to a premium pre game party location for 600 fans with VIP
cabanas, a football field, concert production, plus premium food and
beverage.
