James 4:10 Be humbled before the Lord, and He will lift

you up.

James 5: 1 - 3

Come now, rich ones, weep and howl for your hardships coming on. Your riches have rotted, and your clothes have become moth-eaten.

Your gold and silver have corroded, and their poison will be a witness against you, and will eat your flesh as fire. You heaped treasure in the last days.

James 5: 4 - 6 Behold, the hire of the labourers reaping your fields cry out, being kept back by you. And the cries of those who have reaped have entered into the ears of the Lord of hosts. You have lived luxuriously on the earth, and lived wantonly. You have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter.

You have condemned and murdered the just; he does not resist you.

Cut and fold the pocket, glue the sides and back down. Cut the pages below and insert in the pocket. Write your own interpretations of these verses at the back of each page.

brothers. He who speaks against his brother, and who judges his brother, speaks against the Law

and judges the Law. But if you judge the Law, you are not a doer

of the Law, but a judge.

James 4:12 There is one Lawgiver, who is

able to save and to destroy. Who are you who judges

another?

Notes and References:

I created this lapbook for our Bible Study with my middle school aged

children, but as the entire lapbook is presented entirely as Bible verses, it can

be used for older children, high schoolers and even adults.

These minibooks can be used for memorizing as stand-alone booklets.

I have created matching 1notebook pages notebook pages notebook pages notebook pages for minibook combinations. As the

minibooks have limited space for writing,

All the scriptures were taken off http://www.e-sword.net/ in the Modern King

James Version.

At 2Padfileld.comPadfileld.comPadfileld.comPadfileld.com I found very helpful Bible Study lessons. I used their James Bible

study. . . . They provide an excellent hand-out with the complete text of James and

questions with space for older children or adults to write their own notes.

There is an 3Online Bible Study for Online Bible Study for Online Bible Study for Online Bible Study for children children children children and they present the book of James with

verses with additional correlating scriptures, some basic thoughts and activities for

each chapter.
