JAIN religion doesnt believe in any doer in creationor destruction of this universe. This world evolves on itsown rules. Jain religion believes in 6 Ara (a period oftime). These are called either UTSARPANI orAVSARPANI. When the age of the Tirthankars increaseswith each Tirthankar, it is called UTSARPANI. When the

age of the Tirthankara decreases from the first to the24th, it is called AVSARPANI. The first Thirthankara fromthe present Ara was Rishabh Dev and the last one wasMahavir. The life of the first thirthankara was very long,but the that of the last one was less than 100, thereforeit is Avsarpani Ara. At present we are living in 5th Araand after this the 6th Ara will start, when the religion willalmost vanish from the Earth. Jain Religion believes in

the doctrine of Karma. A soul gets placed in a particularlife on the basis of the Karma attached to it, similarlythe happiness and sorrow are outcomes of the Karma.A soul travels through 84 Lakh different types of lives.

The real thing is soul. The body is like clothes that wewear. Soul changes bodies as per the Karma. The bestform of existence is that of Sidha. Sidha is the statuswhere there is infinite knowledge, infinite darshana and

infinite character and the soul is beyond the cycles ofbirth or death. The purest state is that of Arihant, whichis a type of Sidha. Arihant gives others lessons of lifeand preach others about how to overcome the vices of

Jain Religion believes in the theory ofANEKANTAVADA (the theory that there are manyperspectives of truth and therefore differentperspectives,which may look opposite can still be true).Any person from any religion can reach the status ofMoksha (the status of Sidha) and this is calledsalvation. For reaching the status of salvation, we haveto follow the path of 5 ideas that are : 1.truth 2. non-violence 3. non-stealing 4. Aparigraha 5. Celibacy through = mind, action speech and approval. Topractice Jain religion doesnt require that you follow therituals of jain religion, you must understand thescientific interpretation of jain religion and you canachieve salvation you may follow any religion.
