I’m the business owner of Jade McIntosh Flowers!

Every week our team are filled with gratitude to be able to do a job we love so much. We know your wedding day will be filled with happiness and fun!

I have personally been in this industry since 1998, and after seven years of owning retail florist stores, I realised weddings were my passion and joy. So, Jade McIntosh Flowers evolved focussing solely on weddings and functions. This has been my ‘baby’ since 2006 and has grown from working solo, to our current team of Megan, Bec, Claudie and myself.

At Jade McIntosh Flowers, our team works hard from the initial meeting to the end result. Our streamlined processes and communication ensures every wedding day runs smoothly with an overwhelmingly stunning result for your wedding flowers and styling. Hi, I’m Jade,

Vintage style can incorporate soft pastel blooms or add a splash of colour. Soft in texture and often with old fashioned flowers once seen in grandmas garden or an old English theme (Hydrangea, Dahlias, David Austen Roses). Matches beautifully with lace or feature ribbon. Bouquet style is often a loose posy to show each flower or with an asymmetrical trail. “Something old” works in well such as brooches.

Soft Romantic Soft Romantic style is often a neat or large full

flower posy, or soft teardrop. Greenery is not

usually a feature. Ribboning is kept simple with satin

fully or mostly bound with a little stem showing.

We love Peonies and David Austen Roses. The

colours are soft pastels, creams and whites.

RusticGarden

Lots of loose beautiful seasonal flowers - Jasmine in Spring, Hydrangea in Summer, Poppies in Winter, berries and colourful foliage in Autumn is what makes the Rustic Garden style. Often an eclectic collection of vessels to hold flowers and candles with no particular rules to styling, just not too structured! Ribbon with natural fibres such as jute/burlap (hessian), or simple organza and grosgrain ribbon. Off cuts from bridesmaids dresses are a good idea and work well for continuity of colour.

Rustic Rustic Country style includes flowers from Australian natives to wheat, native grasses, foliage and weeds (Patersons Curse, Privet Berry, Canola, Balloon Flower). Flower content determines a country label, so posy, armsheath, any bouquet style will do. Finishing touches include hessian, linen, textured ribboning with old timber boxes, rusted tins, and timber for table settings.

Simple,Casual& Classic

Pure white flowers, often one flower type to avoid less colour variation is the Simple, Casual and Classic theme. Traditional compact style bouquet or loosely gathered with white ribboning/or natural green to tie in with the stem colour.

Natural in colour, lots of foliage and greens makes up Woodland Eco style. Table styling is kept minimal or with timber, moss ferns and vine. Floral installations are popular hanging above tables or as a feature in the venue. This allows for tables to be kept simple.
