My past experience includes two internships for landscape architecture firms, one with The Land Design Group in Bryan, Texas, and the other for Urban Oasis working under Todd Jones. I have also worked for a year and a half at Desert Elements verifying existing conditions in the field, drafting planting plans, and assisting in irrigation design. Currently, I work at Wright and Dalbin Architects, under Chia-Ling Hsu, a registered landscape architect, and Fred Dalbin, a licensed architect, and my IDP mentor at this time. With W&D I have worked in the development and preparation of numerous site plans, and design of planting plans for architectural projects that the firm has undertaken. In addition to this experience, I have also passed all L.A.R.E. exams and am a licensed irrigator in the state of Texas. On my way through the landscape architect licensing process, I realize that there is no better firm in El Paso than Sites Southwest that can deepen my knowledge of this business. My professional goals, beyond licensure, include rigorous proficiency in irrigation, the local plant palette, construction document production, project planning and administration, all abilities I have, and strengths that Sites Southwest's robust team are renown for. I would be honored to work side by side with the members of your team. Thank you for your time and attention. I look forward to meeting with you in person to discuss potential opportunities. Sincerely, Jonathan Matthews

Dear Ms. Hradek,

I am writing to introduce myself in an effort to explore any potential employment or internship arrangements, as well as to thank you for your contributions to the local landscape architect community.

Sincerely,

Jonathan Matthews
