• Launched in Sept 2010

– 20 ABC courses per year

– Training over 200 vets/assistants

– Neutering 3,000 dogs per year

– Vaccinating over 5,000 dogs against rabies per year

ITC Partners

A child dies of rabies in India every single hour

• Launching with 50,000 rabies vaccinations in just 1 month

• Working with local organisations in 10 rabies hotspots

• Recording rabies vaccination data

• Providing training and equipment

• Trialling ‘Door to door’ campaigns

– Include education on rabies

– 400 in 3 days – resident ITC Vet

– Minimal costs for charities, as no need for dog catching teams

• Around 50% of all rabies bites in India are from domestic dogs
