Introduction

This is none other than a celebratory trip for friendship!

An invitation to all of us to strike that one thing off our bucket list: aerial sports.

Now that all of us are in our late twenties (not a reminder of how old you are; reminder of

how much more to achieve!), let’s go YOLO for once.

This would also be our first overseas trip together as friends who have known each other for

years.

Hoping this trip will become a once in a life time event and once upon a time story for us

all to share with our friends.

I ‘ve come up with itinerary for 4 parts of Australia. All you have to do is just pick and choose

which part of Australia that you would like to do your skydiving.

If Cairns is chosen, then the trip will be a ten (10) day trip, and we will have more

complications on the transportation, but activities wise, it’s top-notch.

We will be exploring most of Central Sydney and a few locations of Greater Sydney.

Transportation

Air Transportation

Our preferred air carrier is AirAsia. By far, AirAsia offers the cheapest rates for return tickets.The total sum of the tickets for 7 persons is approximately RM10,998.48= RM1831.43 perperson.However, I have one concern about AirAsia: Comfort level. The hour of flight will be 9 hours++ from Kuala Lumpur to Australia. If comfort is a problem then, please do let us know.

Car RentalIn order to get most out of our Sydney Trip, Lou Fu & I had spoken about renting a car.

With a car, we will be able to roam around Sydney as locals.

As renting a car from the car rentals at the Airport Terminal is more expensive, Bays WaterCar Rental would be a better car rental to choose from to rent a car as it offers competitiverates for travelers.

We are looking to rent an 8 seater car – Toyota Tarago.The rate for the car for the duration of our stay would be $623++AusD(Approx RM1,833,00 = RM278.57 per person). Click here for the link.The GPS would be charged at $5AUS per day.

Connectivity

Two Optus Mobile Sim Card with internet connectivity. Although Ah Ping has one with heralready, for safety purposes, two more mobile sims would be ideal for situations where partof the group would like to rest whilst the others wish to explore on their own. And, of course,for uploading and spamming photos on Fb, Instagram and whichever social mediaplatforms.

This then brings us to accommodation. Since we are already renting a car and obtaining twomobile sim cards, having an accommodation located further from the city wouldn’t be aproblem.

I could only find one in Earlwood, Sydney. A place located 20-30 minutes away from

the Sydney City Center. Earlwood, Sydney is a safe neighbourhood to stay at for the

duration of the trip.

The second largest city in Australia that houses the Port Phillip Bay. As it is a quieter

city, it will not be as happening as Sydney.

As Melbourne city is built in an orderly manner, car rental in Melbourne may notnecessary.

walking.

4. Cairns

The gateway to the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, Australia’s most pride DaintreeRainforest and Cape Tribulation. This is the Tropical North Queensland, Australia.

a.

Transportation

Air Transportation

There are a few options to travel to Cairns. Lou & I had meticulously checked

the various options available online. These are the options:

Option No.1:

The first option would require us to fly via AirAsia to Gold Coast and from GoldCoast to take an Air train to Brisbane and from Brisbane take a local flight(Qantas) to Cairns.

Although this travel routine may appear to be tiring, this is the cheapest optionthus far.

The approximate total is this: -Rm11,034.38 + Rm185.00 = RM11,219.38 (approximate amount)/6 person.

That would be RM1,869.90 per person for 6 pax

From thereon, we then take the local flight (Qantas) to Cairns. The air fare perperson would be approximately RM712.00. With the aggregate amount ofRM4983.00 (approximately).

For the 6 persons who are travelling from Kuala Lumpur to Cairns, the totalamount for the flight ticket would be RM1,869.90 + RM712.00 = RM2,581.90.

We shall cap this amount at RM2,800.00 / RM2,600.00.

Option No.2

This option is a less tiring travel routine. This travel routine would be to takeMalaysian Airlines and Qantas.

This flight routine would entail having to fly over to Sydney via Malaysian Airlinesand to have a layover of approximately 2 hours at the Sydney International Airportand then take Qantas to fly over to Brisbane and from Brisbane another Qantasflight to Cairns. We will only be reaching nightfall on the 12th December 2016.

With accommodation, we have several options for you guys to choose from. Theseaccommodations are near to the city.

This house is a designer house, called harvester house. The house is spacious

and it is well decorated and facilitated.46

Car Rental

We will be getting the car after our skydiving activity, on 16th December t0 19th

December 2016. This is because there will be pickups and returns available for the

3-day skydiving activity. We are of the opinion that having a car on the first 4

days of the trip will not be value for money that we’re paying for the car rental.

Connectivity

We are going to have 2 mobile sim cards for this location. As this location requires

us to travel around by car. The reason for 2 mobile sim cards: 1 for contact and

internet connectivity; 1 for GPS.
