I-way is a growing statewide network, coordinated by CTAI, that connects people in Idaho to a mix of exciting transportation options, giving Idaho an economic and quality-of-life advantage, while helping keep our state

clean and beautiful.

Idaho’s Coordinated Mobility System

Grass-roots mobility system featuring 17 local networks consisting of local leaders, users, providers, service agencies, and other stakeholders.

• City of Dover created coalition of communities for new bus system

• City of Ponderay voted for Resort City local option tax to fund public transportation between 4 cities

• City of Moscow implemented Saturday service through USDA partnership

I-way In Action - Lewiston

• Gap in service requiring individuals to walk across a bridge to access local transportation services.

• Partnership developed between three transportation providers serving the Lewiston area:– Lewiston Transit System– Northwestern Trailways– Appaloosa Express

• I-way “bridged” this gap for the consumer in this community.
