COMPOSITORE ITALIANO

Il compositore italiano che abbiamo scelto è Gioacchino Rossini. Nacque a Pesaro nel 1792 da una famiglia di musicisti, tre mesi do-po la morte di Mozart. Veniva chiamato il ci-gno di Pesaro per il suo grande talento. Scris-se moltissime opere fino al suo ritiro avvenuto nel 1829, e fino ad allora veniva considerato come il più grande compositore d’opere. Morì a Parigi nel 1868. Adesso è sepolto nella Chiesa di Santa Croce a Firenze, insieme agli altri grandi artisti italiani. The Italian composer on which we worked is Gioacchi-no Rossini. He was born in Pesaro in 1792 into a family of musicians, three months later Mozart’s death. He used to be called “il cigno di Pesaro ( the swan of Pesa-ro) for his big talent. He wrote a lot of works and until his retirement in 1829, Rossini had been considered the most popular opera composer in history. He died in Paris in 1868. Now he is buried in Santa Croce church in Florence together with the big Italian

artists.

Siviglia. Compose anche altre opere importanti

come: La Cenerentola, La Gazza Ladra, Mosè in

Egitto e Il Guglielmo Tell.

Rossini’s most famous opera is The Barber of Seville. He

composed also other important operas like Cinderella, The

Thieving Magpie, Moïse et Pharaon and Guillaume Tell.

A scuola, gli alunni della scuola primaria e della scuola secon-daria di 1° grado hanno suonato insieme l’Ouverture del Barbie-re di Siviglia. Queste foto si riferiscono al loro concerto del quale abbiamo realizzato anche il video. At school, pupils of the primary and of the lower secondary school played together the Ouverture of the Barber of Seville.

In classe abbiamo studiato il compositore e l’opera “Il Barbiere di Siviglia” e poi abbiamo realizzato dei libretti.
