Our own vehicles, serviced regularly by our own mechanics, together with directly employed personnel, are our guarantee of reliability and precision for your business. Fewer empty trips means a greater number of deliveries with less waste of kilometres.We have a total of 400 vehicles entrusted to employed drivers, with the possibility of increasing the fleet by up to 40%, through the addition of external vehicles provided by proven collaborators. MAINTENANCEA sound principle in the transport sector: work, ceaselessly.Italtrans guarantees the full operational condition of their vehicles thanks to the service of an integral workshop and a fully developed in-house spare parts section.Scheduled overhauls and routine maintenance are planned regularly to minimize the risk of unexpected problems.These standard procedures contribute to a radical reduction of vehicle standstill times, ensuring customers the certainty of punctual deliveries at all times.Emergencies happen, however, so a mobile assistance service is provided with recovery and replacement of the stranded

JOURNEYS AND DELIVERIESThe best journey? The shortest one. With the introduction of the new European regulations regarding hours behind the wheel, from 2007 onwards Italtrans has paid particular attention to reducing the average length of the journey, improving the planning of the journies themselves. This has produced a very beneficial result: an increase in deliveries and journeys but with a net saving of kilometres covered. The better distribution of routes has significantly improved the performance efficiency, also guaranteeing benefits regarding environmental impact.

ECOLOGY An upgraded fleet means less emissions. One of Italtrans pices de rsistance is our range of vehicles: constantly renewed, almost all meeting the latest Euro 3, 4,5 and 6 standards, helping to greatly reduce pollution. We believe in the quality of our vehicles but also in intelligent management of them: optimizing routes and journey times contributes to considerable fuel savings, which translates into lower costs and the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions.

PHOTOVOLTAICThe sun as a best friend for the production of clean energy and respect for the environment. There are 5 photovoltaic systems that feed the energy production of our facilities: in Liscate, two in Calcinate, and in Limito and Biandrate for a total production of 5 Megawatts. Important numbers for a mammoth reality: the electricity produced in a year from this renewable source is equal to 5,000,000 kWh. A temperate power, which enables us to view the future with tranquillity, happy to introduce 2,250 tons/year less of CO2 into the atmosphere.

FROZEN GOODSItaltrans began the transportation and storage of frozen foods in 2004. It proved to be an instant success. We now have 50,000 m3 of cells, built according to the most modern conservation principles, in order to ensure the continuity of the refrigeration chain (-25 C) throughout the storage period.During the handling of goods, loading bays with temperature controlled ante-chambers have been specially created in order to allow the vehicles doors to open directly onto the loading platform, thus avoiding thermal shocks even during periods of high external peak temperatures.

REFRIGERATED GOODSSince 2000, one of Italtrans strongest points has been the transport, handling and storage of foods requiring controlled temperatures (0 C to +15 C). BONDED WAREHOUSINGHaving obtained the license in 2009, Italtrans is also qualified for bonded warehousing activities. We provide the management, transportation and custody of goods subject to state monopoly according to the latest laws. We have a total of 6,000 m2 dedicated to the bonded warehousing of alcohol products under tightly controlled conditions. Needless to say, our wharehouses are equipped with the most innovative systems to ensure the traceability of the goods, guaranteeing our customers the utmost security.
