Wayfinding INfluential artwork

Above are a few examples of Wayfinding symbols that I have found. The symbols are simple and easy to understand pictograms. The majority of examples I found were cut out silhouettes. I wish to carry forward the simplicity of these designs while making them more interesting and eye catching.

These examples of influential artwork I found are all quite illustrative. They are effective because they have a limited colour pallette. The quirkiness of the illustrations make them fun and this helped inform my designs as I was aiming at a youthful health conscious audience.

Original colour scheme

The original colour scheme was slightly garish and uneasy on the eye. After playing around with pastel colours it seemed that the blue colours worked the best as they compliment each other and are quite calming and soothing.
