Activities / Accomplishments Summary Scientific / Educational Activities A workshop with the topic of “Applied Pharmacoeconomics” was held

during 3rd Iranian Clinical Pharmacy Congress in Tehran. (Razi International Conference Center, TUMS, Tehran, Iran). A workshop on Applied Pharmacoeconomics was held during the 13th Iranian Pharmaceutical Sciences Congress (Esfahan-Iran). Contribution in 2020 vision of Rational Medicine Use Indicators Conference (Razi International Conference Center, TUMS, Tehran, Iran). Contribution in 17th Iranian Pharmacy Students Seminar.

Policy-Related Activities Annual general body meeting was held in TUMS. The first meeting of the founding members of the new journal named “Journal of Pharmacoeconomics and Pharmaceutical Management” was held in TUMS.

Conferences and/or Chapter Meetings

Contribution in the first national congress of Iranian Association of Pharmaceutical Management and Economics by providing 10 accepted abstracts (Razi International Conference Center, TUMS, Tehran, Iran). Members from Iran contributed in ISPOR meetings by providing 16 accepted abstracts in 17th Annual International, 5th Asia-Pacific, and 15th Annual European conferences. More than 10 papers related to the field of Pharmacoeconomics and Outcome Research was published in international journals (Archives of Medical Sciences, Daru Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, International Journal of Pharmacology, International Journal of Pharmaceutical Research). Holding more than 23 weekly journal clubs.

Membership Development Membership to the chapter has increased with on-going activities. Other Mohammad Abdollahi one of directors of Iran ISPOR chapter co-chaired

the Review Research Committee of the 5th Asia-Pacific ISPOR Meeting in Taiwan 2012. Two members of Iran ISPOR chapter (Mohammad Abdollahi and Shekoufeh Nikfar) participated in Asia Consortium meeting in Berlin, Germany.
