Respect the place where God put you

My lovely father, GG, is a Bible believerand he used to tell me that what God gaveyou, youmust respect it. Don’t ever underes-timate/undermine other people because itmay happen that they are the ones who may

play a cardinal role in lifting you up.I rememberhim tellingmea story from the

Bible, where a richmanwasmoving up veryfast leaving the poor people behind.

One of the poor people told the rich manthat as he was rushing up and not greetingthem, when he come down he would findthem where he left them.

Within no time he came back with emptyhands; all thewealthwasnomore andhewasgreeting this time around.

Those wise words, even you our dear read-er, take them. So uGesh is still maintainingwhat father GG told him. Why you say so?OK, here is a story there is a guy ten yearsago hewas rich like no one’s business. I can’tsay hewas pompous but hewas lazy to spendtime with local people let alone to talk to

them.As a result of this peoplewere always drag-

ging their feet when attending his ceremo-nies. Buthehadnoproblemashehad friendsfrom big cities who used to park their fancycars on his lawn drinking hundred percent-age juice.

He was my role model but what I hateabout him was his behaviour towards localpeople. You knowwhat, this guy now is poor,to such an extent that when I visited myhome locality I heard him asking for R5 tobuy u”alitshoni” (a small pack of boxer to-bacco). That’s life ke ukuba uBawo wethuosemaZulwini usakunike ithuba makuyekeukungathi ukunikele abanye abantuubutye-bi bobakho.

Uyabona ngoku ubutyebi abusekho marasizibuza imibuzo ukuba kanjani le chap uku-ba icele kuba yayingakwazi ukucela komnyeumntu kucelwa kuyo. Watch out! Ke ubomiabubhenywa akuyontsangu. Nivile moss.
