A note from the editor...
Summer is in full swing here in the Florida Keys and we are thrilled to be able to share the beauty of our paradise here with you. This month we continue with our lighthouse
series, showcasing each of the Florida Keys reef lighthouses from both above and below the water. The reef lighthouses, though far from dry ground, still have a rich history that should not be forgotten. I hope you will see things a little differently the next time you go there.
This month we welcome two new writers to Island Jane. We are so fortunate to have them both join the team.
Grace Lang is a dive instructor in the upper Keys who shares her love of diving with us from a woman’s perspective - hopefully inspiring you to spend more time blowing bubbles under the sea :)
Chef Martin Liz has returned to our team. He is a prominant chef in Key West specializing in fresh seafood with a Caribbean flair. His recipes and stories are sure to delight you.
