We are pleased to offer a comprehensivecollection of Islamic jewelry.
The collection consists mainly of necklaces,bracelets, earrings, pendants, rings, pins,
brooches, and ornaments.
The collection has been assembled overseveral decades and mostly purchased fromthe jewelry collection belonging to Mrs PattiBirch of St. Thomas, of the United StatesVirgin Islands. Some of those pieces were
exhibited in the Jewelry Museum inPforzheim, Germany.
The pieces in this col lection cover thehistorical development of some 3000 years ofpre-Islamic and Islamic civi l izations mainlyfrom northern or north-western Iran. There atthe edge of the Caspian Sea and in theZargos mountains, where different
civi l izations succeeded each other and haveleft their treasures.
