Blank spaces and blank pages are provided in this booklet for your rough work. No additional sheets will be provided for rough work. 4. Blank papers, clipboards, log tables, slide rules, calculators, cameras, cellular phones, pagers, and electronic gadgets are NOT allowed inside the examination hall. 5. Separate Optical Mark Reader (OMR) Answer Sheet will be supplied. Read the instructions in OMR sheet carefully and fill it. Do NOT tamper with/mutilate the OMR sheet or the Booklet. 6. Perfect silence and discipline is required in the examination hall. Question Paper Format and Marking Scheme 1. The question paper consists of 3 parts (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) 2. Section-I contains 25 multiple choice questions. Each question has four choices (a), (b), (c), (d) out of which ONLY ONE is correct. For each question, you will be awarded 3 marks if you darken correct choice ONLY and zero marks if no bubbles are darkened. In all other cases, minus one (–1) will be awarded. 3. Section-II contains 4 multiple choice questions. Each question has four choices (a), (b), (c), (d) out of which ONE or MORE is/are correct. For each question 4 marks will be awarded if you darken all the correct bubble(s). In all other cases zero marks will be awarded. NO negative marks in this section. 4. Section-III contains 3 questions. The answer to each question is a single digit number, ranging from 0 to 9 (both inclusive). For each question 3 marks will be awarded if you darken all the correct bubble(s). In all other cases zero marks will be awarded. NO negative marks in this section.
