    Is there any Evidence that Appscan help children with Speech

    delays?

    We should not be mapping the use of new technologies onto old curricula, rather,we need to rethink our curricula and pedagogies in the light of the impact that weknow technologies can have on learning and meaning making in contemporarytimes (Yelland, 2007).

    What is the evidence behind Mr. PotatoHead?

    Apps do not replace you! Do not use apps as a television!

    STILL PLAN YOUR THERAPYThe apps are just the tool or

    1. If the student/child is already familiar with Angry Birds, get himto explain the whole game to you. If you are working on writingskills, this can even be a written assignment.

    2. You and the child can play one or several levels together;

    however the child has to describe their strategy to getting tothe pig prior to playing the level. If you are with a group ofstudents; how about having each student think out theirstrategies separately and get them to discuss which strategy isbest and then put into action?

    3. Select a level and ask the student to play it once, then askthem to describe their strategies verbally or create writtenmaterial that describes their strategies.

    This can also be used for articulation:
