INTRODUCTION&PHILOSOPHY

Love is the most powerful emotion that has ever existed and that will ever exist. It’s a drive, an energy, and the only key to happiness. It’s everywhere; on the streets, in nature, in our homes, in our bodies. However, most of us don’t express our feelings enough. Society has developed so much, but in the field of “romance” there is not a lot of progression. It is more like a concept that is stuck in the 16th century, which can be reduced to merely “flowers, restaurants, music, sunsets and chocolate”. This is precisely the reason for which I decided to make a book that develops romance, taking it to where it deserves to be in our time.

When you read this book, you’ll see that many of the“love injections” are given to people I know, others were conceptually made to explore the concept of romance more profoundly. This is because I didn’t want to just make something, take a picture and walk away from it. I wanted to feel it; feel the other person, the moment, the love. And all I can say is that each and every one was unforgettable and loaded with beauty.

In summary, I want to show that love can be promoted in all kind of ways and means. I want you to be stimulated by it. So you can stimulate somebody else.

Buying a rose is like buying a package of cigarettes: you loose exactly the same amount of time. So, nothing special so far…

What I want to illustrate in my book is that romance today is absorbed by the high speed of the society we are living in. Everything must go fast and should be easy to acquire.

Too easy, too normal, too repetitive. If each person repeats the same behavior with every other person, what then is the added value of this all? Everything has been reduced to typical clichés. But who is interested in cliché-movies?

So be creative in your romance and sur-prise the person you love in a different way. The result is an unforgettable mo-ment.

PHILOSOPHYINTRODUCCIÓN&FILOSOFÍA

El amor es la emoción más poderosa que jamás ha existido. Es un impulso, una energía, y la única llave de la felicidad. Está en todas partes. En las calles, la naturaleza, nuestros hogares, nuestros cuerpos... Sin embargo, la mayoría de las personas no expresan lo suficiente sus sentimientos. La Sociedad ha avanzado en muchos aspectos, pero el “romanticismo” parece un concepto anclado en el siglo XVI. Reduciéndose meramente a “flores, restaurantes, música, puestas de sol y chocolate”. Este motivo me ha impulsado a realizar un libro que desarrolle la creatividad en el amor, para situarlo por fin, en el lugar que se merece en nuestros días.

Cuando leas el libro, veras que muchas de las “inyecciones de amor” fueron dadas a gente que conozco, otras realizadas para explorar el concepto del romanticismo en profundidad. No me interesaba fingir una sorpresa, sacar una foto y marcharme. Quería sentirlo, vivir la reacción de la persona y la autenticidad del momento. Y puedo decir que cada sorpresa ha sido inolvidable.

Mi intención es mostrar que el amor puede ser promovido de muy diferentes maneras. Animándote así, para que a la vez tú puedas estimular a otras personas.

I don’t have a vase

I bought some flowers and wanted to put them in a beautiful vase, but I couldn’t find one. So instead... I found some tape. I started taping all the flowers onto the walls, windows, mirrors, and as I was doing this, I got the idea of putting little notes on each flower to add a personal touch.

Sin jarrón

Compré unas flores para mi novia y quería ponerlas en un jarrón bonito, pero no encontré ninguno. Al menos tenía cinta adhesiva asi que empecé a pegar todas las flores por la casa, en las paredes, ventanas, espejos... Mientras tanto se me ocurrió la idea de poner pequeñas notas en cada flor para añadir un toque personal.

The red thread

One day on waking up, my mom found a red piece of wool criss-crossing the whole house. Her route started with a key that I had attached it to the wool. With this key in her hand, she had to follow the trail and find a locked box with a present inside. I used meters and meters of red wool to make sure that it wasn’t too easy for her.

El hilo rojo

Un día, al despertar, mi madre salio de la habitación y se encontró un hilo de lana roja que cruzaba por toda la casa. Su ruta comenzaba desde una llave atada a un extremo de la lana. Tenía que seguir el hilo y encontrar una caja cerrada con un regalo en su interior. Coloqué metros y metros de lana roja para que no le resultara demasiado fácil llegar hasta la caja.

Tune your door

I made a picture of myself and blew it up in a copy center that prints architectural plans. The advantage of this is that a copy can be made of 90 cm by �0 meters. After finishing all of the preparations, I hid on the stairs and enjoyed her uncontrollable laughter.

Tunea tu puerta

Me saqué una foto que amplié tamaño natural en una copistería especializada en planos de arquitectura, allí puedes hacer ampliaciones de 90cm por �0m.Después de preparar todo, me escondí en las escaleras para disfrutar del ataque de risa que le entró a mi novia cuando salió del ascensor y vio el póster.
