interesting in work at

the Botanic Gardens?

I’ve always loved working

with plants and in gardens. I have a little

garden of my own, and I also volunteer at a

community garden.

Yes, I’ve worked in a ice-cream shop for the last summer.

That’s wonderful.

Do you have any

experience working in a

shop?

Yes, I worked the

cash register at

the ice-cream shop.

Do you know how to work a cash

register?

Great. This is a part-

time position, 20

hours a week. Do you have

any questions?

If I get the job, will I have to work on

weekends?

Yes, you’ll be expected to work one

weekend every

month. Is that all right?

That’s no problem at

all.
