Many factors and predominantly the tremendous impact of the internet revolution have causedthe globalization of markets to gain a totally new dimension in the last twenty years. This presen-tation will show that, in addition to vastly increased competition, marketing strategies have andmust evolve. In particular, will be emphasized the tremendous increase in the potential of nichemarketing, and the need for exporters to move their promotion policies from Push to Pull strategies.

Education and Philosophy: Philosophical Models as an Educational Tool forYoung Children

Keywords: Children-Stories, Intellectual- Capabilities, Philosophy, Thought Processes.

The aim of the research is to provide guidelines to parents, teachers, kindergarten teachers, youth leaders and others working in the field of education to empower the children aged 4 10years old with independent thinking and develop their analytical thought processes. In this researchI offer a number of philosophical methods that will promote the abilities of the parent/teacher tostimulate and develop the childs capabilities to think, to increase his curiosity and promote hisanalytical, even reflective, thought processes. Any educator who tells a story identifies other cluesin it such as the metaphor of acquisition (the bear is an egoist who bought something for himself),as opposed to the metaphor of participation where other people are taken into consideration whichis intended to guide the pupil to think about the negative social aspect of the story. The first partof the research offers five philosophical methods in education as tools by means of which theeducator can present the message in the story in a way that will empower the pupils analyticalthinking. The moral at the end of childrens stories guides reflective thinking by the pupil about thestory. The animal metaphor in childrens stories always reflects social relationships between humanbeings. The child is supposed to internalize the behavioral-ethical clues using independent thoughtprocesses about how to deal with the problem.

Sharjah, one of the seven emirates that make up the United Arab Emirates, is known as a lead-ing cultural center in the Middle East. Not only did Sharjah win the 1998 UNESCO CulturalCapital of the Arab World award, it was also recognized again in 2014 by the ISESCO (IslamicOrganization for Education, Science and Culture) as Islamic Culture Capital. Although the UAEis a relatively young country, founded in 1971, it has developed dramatically and has been studiedas an example for other developing nations. Each emirate has developed a distinctive character, with the emirate of Sharjah building a reputation as a cultural capital and developing a vibrant andflourishing tourism sector with a focus on art galleries, museums and Islamic architecture. Thispaper examines how Sharjah has developed a niche in the tourism industry appealing not only totourists from the Middle East and North Africa, but more recently to tourists from China and fromacross Eastern Europe.

A Case Study on Post-divorce Financial Challenges of Single Mothers andHow to Empower them Economically in South Korea

* Havva Gun EtyemezSeoul National University, South Korea

Keywords: Korean Single mothers challenges, post-divorce income, economically empower-ing single mothers in Korea, financial difficulties of divorced mothers, empowering mothers,

The purpose of this study was to examine financial challenges of divorced-mothers while theyraise their children and their social support expectation from the policymakers and society. Thesemultiple case studies have shown what happens in the single-mother families in South Korea, andthe financial perspective of these mothers with regards to their childrens development. Qualitativedata was collected from observations and structured interviews with three participants, chosenfrom divorced mothers, within a span of 2 months. Each case shows these mothers experiences ontheir financial conditions and the different post-divorce economic challenges faced by them. Thefindings of these studies are as follows: Firstly, a mother’s relationship with her child was greatlyimpacted by their financial situation. Simply put, any mother with a steady and wealthy incomewithout a heavy career-demand to earn that said income, would be able to significantly spendmore time with their children and be present for their development and milestones. Additionally, mothers have high expectations for social support because of insufficient financial help from theirex-husband and families. In addition to that, mothers have a strong emotional closeness with theirchildren shaped by their financial difficulties and cumulative stress accompanied by the strain ofsingle motherhood. Also, the mothers supportive and understanding nature of capital issues helpedtheir children to possess empathy toward their mothers and the community around them. Lastly, single mothers in South Korea still require supporting social services to minimize their concernsabout their childrens safety. Solutions were suggested on regulating the social welfare in SouthKorea and designing more flexible working hours for single mothers in order to ensure qualitytime with their children.

Banking is an important financial institution that functions as a capital flow in the economy. An effective bank will contribute to the growth of the economy and increase competitiveness, es-pecially in the context of Vietnamese financial market is under great pressure from the integrationprocess now. Therefore, it is difficult for Vietnamese banks to develop sustainably without con-centrating resources to improve their performance, so evaluating the current performance of banksis initial necessary step. With the purpose of measuring the efficiency of Vietnamese commercialbank, a research with the sample of 17 Vietnamese commercial banks during the time period of7 years from 2010 to 2016 was conducted. Three different models of DEA were applied in thisstudy to measure the efficiency: CCR model and BCC model. The results of two different modelsare satisfactory as they showed the relative results and reflected the actual performance of banksas well as the fluctuations in efficiency under the impact of influencing factors. According to theresults obtained from Vietnamese commercial bank efficiency, it can be concluded that averageefficiency level of 17 joint stock commercial banks in Vietnam is quite high and the Scheme of re-structuring banking system has had a positive effect on bank efficiency. Besides, there is no prooffrom this research indicating that large banks are more efficiency than medium size banks. Resultsof this study also showed some degree of inefficiency.

Keywords: Women Judges, Judiciary, Equal Access To Justice, Gender-Based Violence

Previous research has shown that the participation of women in the judiciary can play animportant role in the achievement of the justice (OConnor & Azzarelli, 2011). According to thestudy, women judges can have a critical function in strengthening the rule of law, both throughtheir contributions to an impartial judiciary, as well as through their role in the implementation andenforcement of laws, particularly those that provide access to justice for women and girls. Thisstudy looks to explore these findings further. In line with the Feminist Legal Theory, which sug-gests that in order to achieve the feminist goals of equality for men and women, these goals mustbe incorporated into law and made enforceable by the government (Levit &0 Verchick, 2016), theresearchers sought to determine the role of women judges in achieving equal access to justice forcases of gender-based violence in the Philippines. Using a self-made, semi-structured question-naire, the researchers conducted a series of interviews with five (5) women judges from selectedMunicipal and Regional Trial Courts all over the Philippinesone from the National Capital Region, one from Luzon, two from Visayas, and one from Mindanao. Results show that women judgesensure equal protection of the laws by handling cases with fairness and neutrality regardless of thegender of both parties, and therefore play a significant role in achieving equal access to justice forgender-based violence.
