� Negative thought: It’s a mess

� IEP: I release all my emotional attachments to it’s a mess

� Peaceful feeling. Tension in back of head

� IEP: I restore the right energy flow to the back of my head

� Neck tension

� IEP: I restore the right energy flow to my neck

� I need to reduce it down to the key parts

� I’m not good at organising

� IEP: I release all my emotional attachments to not being good at organising

� Sigh, deep breath, chest opening up

� I just need to do it, I haven’t practiced this and I’ve had resistance to it in the past

� Feeling of more freedom and being able to embrace organising, memories of when I have done this successfully in the past (TAE, res)

� Scan body - mind

� Doubt: They will think it is a pathetic effort

� IEP: I release all my emotional attachments to this fantasy of them rejecting my pathetic attempts at organising

� Smile. It’s all ok. Some will, some won’t. That’s their stuff. Success, not perfection. Live your own philosophy.

� Upset over a person's post on FB

� IEP1: I release all my emotional attachments to this post.

� She is an idiot!� IEP1: I release all my emotional attachments to she is an idiot!

� She is just naive. Some people are not going to get it. � Much less intensity of feeling now.

� She is still wrong. � IEP1: I release all my emotional attachments to she is wrong.

� She is allowed to be wrong. Nobody is going to die from it!

� Disturbance is in the diaphragm.

� IEP2: I restore the right energy flow to my diaphragm.

� Breathing goes a bit lower down now.

� Tight jaw.

� IEP2: I restore the right energy flow to my jaw.

� Jaw loosened up. Teeth not grinding.

� Body scan: About 20% of the feeling left

� What remains? Anger.

� IEP1: I release all my emotional attachments to being angry.

� Less heat. More relaxed.

� Go back and look at her post: I reacted to the way she insisted she was SO right and said something that is clearly wrong and naive.

� IEP1: I release all my emotional attachments to I am right and she is wrong.

� IEP1: I release all my emotional attachments to she is naive and simpleminded.

� She IS wrong and that is ok. She IS right from her own experience. She is ok to use what works for her. My advice is for me.

� Feeling calm now.

1. Apply IEP to the belief itself

3. Apply IEP to past events where you learned the belief / where you have felt this before

4. Apply IEP to related beliefs and events

� Construct a 1-2 minute movie of the event

� Stop at any intense parts and tap / IEP until the intensity reduces, then continue

� Apply IEP to emotions and meanings

I put this experience back into the past where it actually happened

� Generate a list of past events related to your problem and any negative beliefs

� Work through these

events using the “Run

the movie” or “Tell the

story” technique

� What would I like to change in my life?

� What would be good to create in my life?

� What would be worthwhile to do

� What would I like to do?

� What would be fun to do?

� What sort of person would I like to become?

� Result = Instant resistance!

� When you set a goal to change your unconscious blocks rise up as if to try and stop you

� Many people call this the resistance

� It manifests in procrastination, self-sabotage and avoidance

� Until you overcome the resistance it will continue to hold you back

� Fear: Fear of failure and fear of success

� Unconscious blocking beliefs

� Values conflicts (“internal civil war”)

Typically, it is your negative associations to:

� Having the success / Being successful;

� The process involved in getting it; and/or

� Your perceived lack of ability or deservingness to have it.

� You must release your emotional attachments to this BS in order to free yourself to achieve the success you desire.

1.1.1.1. Set your goal / intention: I will... By…

2. Test congruency (Is it 100% YES?) and identify any resistance / objections / conflicting thoughts or feelings

3. Apply IEP to release the resistance / attachments:

◦ I release all my emotional attachments to this (problem, event, image, belief, thought)

◦ I restore the right energy flow to (body area)

4. Check in with your intention and reset or, if “100% YES!”, Go for it!

� Thanks to Dr Larry Nims for the idea of using a cue word, as he used in his approach Be Set Free Fast (BSFF)

� The cue word acts as a direction to the unconscious mind to carry out the process

� We can also use a cue word to initiate the Intention Tapping process, however our instructions are very simple and direct

� When targeting a problem thought or feeling, instead of saying the entire intention statement(s), you can simply use your cue word

� Decide on a cue word that you can use to initiate the Intention Tapping process

� It is best to use a cue word that is short, simple and has positive meaning to you (e.g. calm, love)

� Set the intention that whenever you think or say this cue word your unconscious mind will carry out the full IEP process, and:

◦ Release emotional attachments to target problem(s)◦ Restore energy flow to disturbed body area(s)◦ Return targeted memor(ies) to the past

� Continue to combine this with tapping

� When thoughts are happening very rapidly, you can also use the cue word very rapidly

� Eventually, you start to catch the thoughts before they “hook” you emotionally

� That is a very good day!

� IEP offers a practical way to quiet your mind

� IEP can restore you to a place of calm clarity

� IEP can relieve the emotional stress behind your problems enabling you to approach solving them from a more objective place

� IEP can reconnect you with your inner resources, confidence and personal power

� IEP can help you to achieve your goals by releasing the resistance to achieving them

� IEP can be used to release attachments to false values and uncover your true values

IEP can help you release your attachments to past conditioning and free you to be who you are, live your own life, and achieve your own version of success, starting now!
