Instructions for Accessing and Using Zoom While you can sign up for a free account with Zoom, it is not necessary to have an account to access the meetings. To access a live event from your computer or if you have the app installed on your smart phone (instructions at the end of this on installing the app): 1. If you were provided a link to the meeting, simply click on the link in your email and you should be taken directly to the meeting site. 2. If you do not have the link but have the meeting number, a. Open an internet browser (Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, etc.) and go to zoom.us where you should see the page below: b. Click on the “JOIN A MEETING” at the top of the page c. Enter the Meeting ID that you have been provided. While most meetings will not have a required password, if you were provided a password, you will need to enter the password. This will now take you into the meeting. d. You will need to now decide how to provide audio (you can call in separately on a phone or use the audio through your computer) and whether you want to share your video. To install the Zoom app on your smart phone:

1. Ifyouwereprovidedalinktothemeeting,simplyclickonthelinkinyouremailandyoushouldbetakendirectlytothemeetingsite.

c. EntertheMeetingIDthatyouhavebeenprovided.Whilemostmeetingswillnothavearequiredpassword,ifyouwereprovidedapassword,youwillneedtoenterthepassword.Thiswillnowtakeyouintothemeeting.

d. Youwillneedtonowdecidehowtoprovideaudio(youcancallinseparatelyonaphoneorusetheaudiothroughyourcomputer)andwhetheryouwanttoshareyourvideo.
