Installing the Shoretel Communicator Software Open up Firefox and type the following command into the browser address field.

https://stl-shoretel.stl.umsl.edu/ShoreWareResources/ClientInstall/

Select I understand the Risks. You will need to add the Exception.

You will be redirected to the following install screen.

In the upper left corner you will see a hyperlink: Click Here to install ShoreTel Communicator Click on the blue text to save and install the software.

Click on save file and then OK

From your desktop locate ShoreTel Communicator.dmg file and double click on it.

Drag the Shoretel Communicator application into the applications folder

You will notice that the application is now installed on the Mac.

Double click on the Shoretel Communicator Icon located in the applications folder. Click on Open

Server logon screen will appear. Type in the Server IP address 134.124.136.128 and use your SSO ID and Password. You need to specify the domain with your SSO ID:

If this is your primary system you may want to select “remember this password in my keychain”

Congratulations you have successfully installed and logged into the system. At the end of the communicator install the system may ask you to install Growl software if the user does not have it installed already. Go ahead and install it. Growl is an open source notification system for Mac OS X. It allows applications that support Growl to send you notifications. http://www.growl.info/
