Installing Microsoft Lync on your (Mac OSX) Home Computer

Download and Setup

1 Download the Lync installer: http://services.co.dakota.mn.us/files/lync/lync2010-osx.ISO 2 Run the installer by double clicking on the file you just downloaded. 3 Double Click on “Lync Installer”

4 On the “Welcome” screen, click Continue

5 On the “Software License Agreement” screen, click Continue

6 On the License pop-up window, click Continue

7 On the “Standard Install” screen, click Install

8 You may be prompted for a username and password to install the application. If you are,

you will need to enter the administrator account for your Mac 9 You should see a message that “Installation was successful.” Click Close 10 Open Lync. You can find the icon in your applications folder 11 When Lync opens, fill in the following fields:

Email Address: Use your full county email address

Sign In As: Leave as “Automatic”

User ID: Enter you county network account, in the format of CORE\xxxx1

Password: Enter your county network password

If this is a computer that other people use, uncheck “Remember my password”
