Introduction

Advantech Industrial MotherboardsThe Advantech Industrial Motherboard (AIMB) series is designed specifically for POS/ATM/Kiosks and other related applications that do not require many I/O connections. They are rugged in design and set at an affordable price. This series is best suited for Supermarket, Medical, Entertainment, ATM, Retail, Hotels & Restaurants, and Public Transit System applications.

Advantech offers low cost onboard NS Geode and Celeron/Pentium III/4 CPUs, plus high performance Pentium M processor-based solutions that suit different application demands.

Six serial ports with digital I/O, SSD, LAN and LCD/VGA are common onboard features. Additional industrial features include a watchdog timer and backup CMOS Flash BIOS to enable continuous operation at temperatures up to 60° C. The physical size conforms to the popular all-in-one motherboard form factor (LPX/MicroATX/EmbeddedATX/MiniATX/Mini-ITX) which can be easily adapted to commercially available chassis.

Advantech is pleased to announce its latest industrial motherboard form factor, the MiniATX. With twenty-one years of embedded computing experience, Advantech developed this motherboard form factor in-house. The MiniATX is based on the standard form factor, but specially designed with a smaller size. The smaller size saves space and cost, and adapts easily to the available chassis.

Advantech is now introducing this new MiniATX form factor to market. With development expertise in Embedded Computing, Advantech is pleased to share this latest advancement and to expand the product selection in the Embedded Computing market.
