Major Retail Development

A. Chandler Pavilions, Casa Paloma &

Chandler Gateway West: Chandler

Pavilions is a 1.1 million SF power center

featuring Home Depot, Sam’s Club,

numerous restaurants, shops, an ice skating

rink and a hotel. Casa Paloma is a specialty,

open air mall with AJ’s Fine Foods and other

upscale retail and restaurants. Chandler

Gateway West, a 25 acre site, is home to

luxury and consumer auto dealers and

restaurants.

B. Chandler Fashion Center & Power

Centers: The 1.3 million SF Chandler

Fashion Center is home to Nordstrom,

Dillard’s, Macy’s and Sears. The regional

mall also features a 22-screen Harkins

Theater and numerous restaurants in an

urban village setting. The nearby Power

Centers include over 800,000 SF of

development, including Target, TJMaxx,

Lowe’s and Nordstrom Rack. The

Metropolitan is a planned upscale mixed-use

project featuring 58,000 SF of retail space.

Major Retail Development

C. Historic Downtown Chandler: The

current master plan incorporates AJ

Chandler’s vision and the existing resort into

a vibrant downtown that includes retail,

office, entertainment and upscale residential

development. The renovation of shops along

the City square is nearly complete, with

most open for business. The City has begun

improvements to South Arizona Avenue

which will incorporate mixed-use projects

and a new City Center into a new downtown

entry corridor.

D. Santan Gateway & Santan Plaza: Santan

Plaza (SWC) is anchored by Kohl’s. Santan

Gateway, at the SEC & NEC, is anchored by

Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club.

E. Gilbert Road & Santan Freeway:

Crossroads Towne Center at the SWC

includes 650,000 SF of retail and is

anchored by Wal-Mart, Home Depot and a

Harkins Theater. The NWC is home to the

Chandler 202 Auto Park with Toyota, Nissan

and Honda dealers.

F. Downtown Ocotillo: An upscale mixed-use

project at Queen Creek and Dobson Roads.

The development includes a Fresh & Easy

Neighborhood Market, a hotel and boutique

retail.

G. Alma School & Queen Creek

Neighborhood Centers: All four corners at

this intersection are developed with retail,

including neighborhood centers on the NWC

and SEC with grocery anchors, shop space

and a Target. The SWC houses specialty

stores, upscale restaurants and office space,

all situated around water. The NEC is

anchored by Steinmart, Sprouts and Home

Goods.

H. Fulton Ranch Area: A master-planned

community with neighborhood and regional

retail centers. Tenants include Home Depot,

Lowe’s, AJs Fine Foods, Fresh & Easy and

upscale restaurants and shops.
