OUR GOAL

In tourism sector there are thousands of tour agents working in buddhist

sectors in India, Nepal and Bhutan. But we found ourselves unique and different

from other travel agents. The reason behind being unique is because we take

care of people personal feelings and keep the trip authentic. So people can have

close cultural experience. In other hand we are different because along all the

personal feelings, we give sense of Spirituality so every individuals can

experience the essence of Buddhism, Hinduism and other religious believes and

devotions. Buddha Bhumi also offers the ability to tailor a tour program

according to your wishes and interests.

INFORMATIONBuddha Bhumi Tour office is mainly based in Bodhgaya India. This is small town in

North India of Bihar state where Buddha has Achieved the Enlightenment. Because of

our close connection with dutch people in the Netherlands we got most of pilgrimage

tours organized from there since 2006 and some from other country Buddhist centers

like England, Spain and Australia.

ITINERARYPlaces to visit : Delhi, Agra, Bodhgaya, Rajgir, Nalanda, Varanasi, Vaishali, Sarnath,

Kushinagar and Lumbini

DAY - 1

Departure from Amsterdam/Brussel. Meet and greet at Delhi airport then transfer to hotel in

Delhi. Sightseen of Lotus temple and Raj Ghat Gandhi Cremation place.

DAY – 2

Departure to Varanasi by flight. evening visit to the Ganges to see the hindu

ritual Aarti. Night in varanasi.

DAY – 3

To see Sunrise at Ganges (optional)Sight seen of Sarnath Deer Park and

Dhamek Stupa where Buddha preached his first teaching of four noble truth.

DAY- 4

Departure to Kushinagar it is 8hrs of long drive but we drive with some breaks

and it is incredible to see the real life of Indian people. Night in kushinagar at

monastery

DAY- 5

Visit to the place where Buddha passed away and cremation stupa. This is place

where one would understand the impermanence. Drive 4rs to Lumbini(Nepal).

Night in Lumbini

DAY – 6

Morning Visit to the birth place of Buddha some other monasteries. Night in

Lumbini

DAY- 7Departure to Vaishali in morning. 8 hrs of drive with few breaks and lunch on

the way. Night in Vaishali

DAY-8

Sightseen of Around of Vaishali this is place where Buddha had accepted First

Female Sangha then Drive to Bodhgaya. Hotel in Bodhgaya

DAY – 9

Visit to Mahabodhi Temple place of Buddha Enlightenment under Bodhi tree.

This is the place where one comes and realize the real meaning of

enlightenment..

DAY – 10

Sight seen of Bodhgaya and Surroundings . Bodhgaya is place where most of

Buddhist country has made their beautiful temple and monasteries that makes

Bodhgaya very special.

DAY – 11

Day trip to Rajgrih and Nalanda(optional). Rajgrih Vulture peak where Buddha

taught the Heart Sutra and Nalanda is ruins of first Buddhist university that

was build 150 years after Buddha passed away.

DAY -12 and 13Departure from Bodhgaya to Delhi flight. Next morning drive to Agra and sightseeing of Taj

Mahal & Agra fort then departure to Delhi and evening at Akshardham temple. Hotel in Delhi.

DAY – 14MORNING FLIGHT TO AMSTERDAM AND SAYING GOOD BYE.
