Not every twenty-something designer can boast that they
presented their collection in both South Beach and South
Greece in a matter of just one week!
Well, INDASHIO can. First, the designer ascended in Miami
during the Ultra Music Conference, where he showed his
hottest designs of the season on the main stage runway at
Miami Beach’s famed Funkshion fashion tents. Then, he jetted
to Athens, Greece to do it all over at Athens XClusive Designer
Week.Talk about a ―glam god!‖
INDASHIO has dressed an avalanche of celebrities including
Amber Rose, Aubrey O’day, Adrienne Baillon, Denise
Richards, Johnny Weir, Nicky Hilton, Shontelle, Vanessa
Carlton and Vivica A. Fox, whom he was also judged by on
Vh1′s ―Glam God‖ — which he won (how fitting).

after a welcome dinner to our guests, we headed out for a few drinks
Organising and working on the Gaborone Fashion Nite has been one of the most fulfilling projects I’ve thus far
been involved with. Not only because most people were skeptical when we Koketso Chiepe stated that we’ll be
bringing through Hollywood celebrities.
My highlight was behind the scenes, a lot of work that was put in to bring forth the first event of its caliber that
Botswana has ever witnessed. Thanks to our sponsors Mascom, Brand Botswana/Bedia, Falcon Crest, Private
Collections, Yarona FM, Footprints, Monametsi Kalayamotho, Lapologa/Gazette Newspaper for believing in
bringing International fashion to my beloved country. For one that is so passionate about the industry, this
moment couldn’t have been a better one, especially after many questions about me doing a fashion show, which
I always explained thus, ‘I do not plan to get involved in any fashion event that would not be of the standard I’ve
experienced internationally.’ I hope now you understand why.

Our Celebrity guests Sessilee Lopez, Yaya Dacosta, Joseph Seeletso, Kaone Kario and Indashio were the best to
host, from the days they landed at the airport to all the fun activities they got involved in, such as, Bahurutshe
Cultural Village, Mokolodi Game drives, Braai at the Gabs Game Reserve, exclusive dinners and lunches we
shared around Gabs. The partying was off the hook too, as we danced the night away. Andiswa Manxima made a
great impression with her production team as they worked on the models’ choreography and the designers’
wardrobes, which included the running of the program. Our local designers Mpho Kuaho and Botho Chalebgwa’s
designs prove just how far Botswana has come, as for the models, wow!!!

From the feedback that has been pouring through, we at Gaborone Fashion Nite would like to believe that the
night was a success and thus look forward to the next event in October, with the assistance of more sponsors or
better sponsorship, as we plan to make Gaborone the hub of international celebville. It is about time the
entertainment and fashion world knew about us and scrambled to be part of our success story, not only our rich
diamond industry or amazing tourism and the tasty beef, but the passion and talent of the youth in this country
deserves more than applause. Recognition is what we are thriving for. Work hard and play hard is what we live
by!!!

Only fab fashion designer Indashio could make Denise Richards the belle of the ball in a gum-inspired
dress. Richards rocked the sparkly, blue number, which Indashio revealed was inspired by the
'Awaken' flavor of Trident Vitality gum.
"Denise is the most perfect muse for this dress," Indashio told PopEater. "If this doesn't awaken
anybody, I don't know what will."
She sat front row, as Indashio debuted his Fall 2011 collection titled 'Gaudy' at the Metropolitan
Pavilion in New York. Other celebrity attendees included 'Cheetah Girls' singer Adrienne Bailon and
newly engaged 'Jersey Shore' star Angelina Pivarnick.
Johnny Weir, Aubrey O'Day, Stormi Henley and Erika Jan strutted their stuff on the runway in jaw-

The event was a fashion show after-party at New York City’s Red Bull Space. Foxy showed up minutes before the event closed, at 1:20 AM the next day (February 17th) completely intoxicated. Foxy then locked herself in one of the restrooms and refused to come out. She was physically removed by a security guard and escorted off the premises.However, Foxy Brown has a different version of this story.“The story is a complete fabrication,” Foxy advised RadarOnline.com. “When I got to the club I was not intoxicated at all. That’s a lie. There was no intoxication, there was no drama, and I was never physically escorted out by security.”Designer Indashio has spoken out about the event, but didn’t seem fazed by any drunk Foxes running around. In fact, HipHopDX reports that the designer was pleased with Fox Boogie’s appearance. “I was so happy to see her,” Indashio exclaimed. “When Foxy came at the end, it was the perfect way to close the night. Foxy Brown was escorted out of a fashion show party in NYC
Wednesday night ... TMZ has learned -- after the female rapper
allegedly showed up intoxicated ... long after she was scheduled to
perform.
Sources at Red Bull Space in Soho -- which hosted the after party for Indashio's
fashion show -- tell TMZ, Foxy showed up at 1:20AM ... ten minutes before the entire
party was supposed to shut down.
We're told everyone was already on their way out when Foxy came in -- and decided to
lock herself in a bathroom ... and refuse to come out.
According to sources, security was called ... and Foxy was physically removed from the
building.
Foxy's rep had no comment.

Above Indashio shows its spring–summer 2011 collection on Grand Cayman Island, with a little
help from Selita Ebanks. Our good friend Brad Batory, who styled numerous Lucire covers,
followed up his Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week début last September with showings on
Grand Cayman Island and Nassau in November.
Brad’s Indashio label showed its spring–summer 2011 Klub Kids collection, with the Cayman
Island Fashion Solstice stop at the Ritz–Carlton Grand Cayman Resort, hosted by Selita Ebanks.
Ebanks played an extra role as she closed the show, modelling on the Indashio catwalk.
Indashio then showed at Islands Fashion Week in Nassau.

"I love glitter. Sparkles. I eat glitter for breakfast," Indashio told us backstage at his spring 2011 runway show at Metropolitan Pavilion earlier this week. The designer, who is best known for winning Vh1's Vivica A. Fox-hosted Glam God TV show, said he was inspired by club kids circa the Party Monster era. "I love New
York City, and when I moved here, all my dreams came true, you know. What I love about New York is all this craziness, madness, people pulling me." That craziness came across in the collection, a veritable explosion of sequins, studs, psychedelic prints, and neon, punctuated with studded Gaga-esque sunglasses. Indashio's muse (and former Kanye West flame) Amber Rose opened the show wearing a fluorescent pink, feathered mini-dress; the crowd, which included baller Ron Artest, Caridee English and Jasleen Gonzalez from America's Next Top Model, and, um, The Jersey Shore's Angelina Pivarnick, naturally went nuts.
Explained Rose after her turn on the catwalk, "I love Indashio! He's my baby. I love the fact that he's so over-the-top 'cause I'm so over-the-top." You don't say.

With her outspoken, brash personality,Angelina Pivarnick's had plenty of beefs with her Jersey
Shore roommates, butRadarOnline.com can report that at least one of the fiery brunette's ongoing feuds is
coming to an end.
Pivarnick's buried the hatchet with designerIndashio after a nasty falling out that occurred in June when the
designer said she hadn't returned a dress he'd loaned her for the MTVMovie Awards. (She eventually returned
thedresses in July.)
We caught up with the reality star at Indashio's Style360 fashion show Monday, where she chalked their past
problems to a poor choice of middlemen.
Indashio "and I are great again," Pivarnick told RadarOnline.com exclusively in a statement. "We hugged it all
out and he said that my old manager Sibrena is crazy... she started all of the drama between us. She had put
bad thoughts in his head about me.
"He realized after she was falsely representing herself as Indashio's publicist as well," Pivarnick told us. "She
tried to steal the spotlight away from Indashio at one of his events by jumping in his pics."
Indashio's camp confirmed the designer and the reality star "have been able to clear things up between each
other."
"Its all peace & love right now," Indashio's rep told RadarOnline.com exclusively. "They put their differences
aside to be at the show so she can come out and show her support for his line."
