When artists from all over the nation compete to be part of an exhibition curated by
gallerist Brian Gross, the results are really visually stunning. We invite you to come see
the latest exhibitions here at MarinMOCA, which are a wonderful foray into
minimalism and abstraction.

The Summer National Exhibition features
contemporary artists from around the nation and
includes sculpture, paintings and photography.
This exhibition was juried by Brian Gross, owner of
Brian Gross Fine Art.

In recognition of their artistic achievement, MarinMOCA
artists Suzanne Golt and Kristin Meuser were awarded this
paired exhibition for winning first place in MarinMOCA's
2015 member shows.

Over 75 of MarinMOCA's artist
members have contributed a piece for
this show which showcases the diverse talents of painters, sculptors,
photographers, printmakers, textile and mixed media artists. Included in
the exhibit will be a special memorial exhibition for MarinMOCA member and
sculptor Charlie Kleinman, who passed away earlier this year.

MarinMOCA is initiating a new
program for an Artist in
Residence here at the Novato
Art Center at Hamilton in
partnership with the City of
Novato. This MarinMOCA
residency aims to provide a
talented and committed visual
artist with a stipend and free
studio space at the Novato Art
Center surrounded by 50 other
artists as well as MarinMOCA's
galleries and classroom. The
artist will have the opportunity to concentrate on making their art while giving
the community opportunities to connect and learn from his/her art practice
and knowledge. This inaugural residency will be 90 days. The City of Novato is
providing this space free of charge for the program, and MarinMOCA is
providing an artist stipend for the length of the residency.
This is a live-out residency, meaning housing is not provided. For this reason, selected
artists must live within driving distance of MarinMOCA. Artists must be 21 or older and
be able to comfortably and effectively communicate with the public. For full details

Petaluma Arts Association 59th Annual Art in the Park
"Art in the Park" is a popular North Bay event attracting thousands of visitors each
year. Open to all artists who create visual fine art or fine crafts. It will be held in Walnut
Park at the corner of Petaluma Boulevard South and D Street. September 10 & 11,
10am to 5pm.
Petaluma Valley Hospital Exhibition
The Art Around Town Committee presents a call for art for the upcoming exhibition at
the Petaluma Valley Hospital. Exhibition dates August 10 - December 14, 2016.
