FOUNDATIONS SECTION Policy 1B.3 EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY (EEO) Consistent with its obligations under applicable state and federal laws and regulations, the Falls Church Cit y School Boar d is commit ted to providing qua lif ied indivi dual s access to all employment programs, benefits, and activities on the basis of demonstrated ability, performance, and merit, without regard to personal factors that are irrelevant to the program involved. The Falls Church City Public Schools will adhere to a policy of equal employment opportunities for all employees. It is the policy of the Board not to discri minate against any employee because of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, service in the uniformed services or pregnancy, childbirth or other related medical conditions. The School Board assures all employees of equal opportunities for promotion and additional responsibilities within the school division.
