Meet the animal families of the northern wilderness in
I Would Tuck You In by Sarah Asper-Smith and
Mitchell Watley (Sasquatch Books; $9.99; October
2014). Originally published in picture book format,
I Would Tuck You In is now available as a board book
for even younger readers. This sweet children’s book
shows the many expressions of love between parents and
their offspring in the animal world.
If you were a sea otter, I would tuck you into a kelp forest
bed.
If you were a little brown bat, I would find you on the darkest nights.
If you were an Arctic tern, I would fly to the ends of the Earth with you.
Charmingly illustrated by Mitchell Watley, I Would Tuck You In is the perfect bedtime book to share
with someone you love.

About the Author and Illustrator
Sarah Asper-Smith makes her home in Juneau, Alaska, where she works for herself as an artist
and designer. She finds much of her inspiration in the beauty that surrounds her.
Although originally from Texas, Mitchell Watley now calls Alaska home. When he is not
collaborating with his wife, Sarah, on an artistic project or a delicious meal, he can often be
found painting in his studio. This is their first children’s book together.
