The sacrifice…The death…

The resurrection…The atonement…The redemption…

The reconciliation of ourbroken relationships…

Life Ever Lasting!

Jesus conquered sin, death, and the devil. The box in the grave cannot hold us.

We, who believe in Jesus Christ, will rise again!

The Transformation in the lives of repentant sinners!

The joy of each

new day!

Taking up our crossand walking

with Christ JesusDaily…

Knowing He is with us!

Trusting

…that my Savior is Christ the Lord…that I am HIS Little Lamb

Upon the death of a loved one, what are the most helpful things friends and family can say and do

for each other?

Not say and do?

Why?

Do all roads lead to Heaven, eventually?

Is Jesus Christ simply the best of many ways?

orIs Jesus Christ

the way? Matthew 7: 13-14

John 14:6 Acts 4:12

John 14:6 Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, the life.

He alone has the power to forgive our sins,to create in us a clean heart,

to renew a right spirit within us,to help us overcome our temptations,

to restore the joy of our salvation,to give us a new life!

Acts 4:12God can do what we are

powerless to do!He can deliver us

from the destructive grip of sin.

We all need the forgivenessoffered only by Jesus Christ.

Jesus desires complete renewal for us—And, He has the power to bring it about!

What do you think about the statistic shared in this chapter

that…

50% of churches fail to win even one convert to Christ

per year…?

Matthew 28:18-20

Why challenge (lovingly confront)

the beliefs of people who are already happy

with the path they are taking? Matthew 10:28

As Osborne points out, we all struggle with sin.

As stated in Romans 3:23 “For everyone has sinned;

we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.”

Why is it important to remember that we all fall short?

Romans 7:14-25, 8:1-21 John 2:4

Romans 7:14-25

No matter how far we progress, our sinful nature will always lure us toward temptations.

We cannot afford to forget this or let down our guard.

BUT, we have reason for great hope.

Christ Our Savior conquered sin, death and the devil. His transforming power is for us and our lives!

Osborne also notes those who set up camp

in the land of disobedience, who stay there, and who even defend it!

What does the bible say about willful disobedience?

Galatians 5:16-23 Galatians 6:7-10

Why do you think Osborne calls

the Gospel message an inconvenient truth?

John 8:30-36

Divine truths penetrate into the hearts and minds

of hearers, and many were won for Christ.

GOD’s WORD whenever and wherever

it is preached will always havesome effect and success,

on account of its inherent power.

Without Christ, ALL people are slaves

to sin.

BUTIn Christ there is

deliverance from sin,True freedom

Only those who have accepted the salvation of Jesus are TRULY free!

Emancipation from Sin and its service

Jesus earned freedom from sin for all people by paying the price,

The redemption for their sin—His Holy Blood.

The only true freedom—

which the SON

has earned and is offering to

the whole world.

Living in denial is dishonest.

We think we can stop our sin

anytime we want.

We think we have the right to choose how to live

our own lives. We think our behavior

does not affect anyone but us.

As we assert our freedom to choose,

we lose the freedom to choose

anything but the sin we are enslaved to!

The spiritual forces that sway our life

have roots in either truth or deceit.

Truth leads to freedom;deceit leads to

chains and death.

Those who believe have thenecessary spiritual understanding

of the Gospel and its meaning.

Those who reject Christ Jesuswill find that Christ will become their Judge.

It will be too late when they see Him revealed—

the majesty of His divine power.

What impact do you think the following verses have

on the way we share the Gospel?

John 14:15 John 15:5-15

Micah 6:81 John 4:7-21

John 14:15-26

Real love brings security

to our life!

We believersCling to the Gospel of grace and mercy.

The Triune God of Grace --personally--

lives in the hearts of the believers, not only with some manifestation

of His power and strength, but with His actual essence.

Mystical Union

Without Christ, without His Power and Life,

outside of Christ and His strengthening Spirit, there is NO possibility

of real spiritual work of any kind.

In my own strength, by my own power, I cannotthink, desire, speak, perform anything good.

Christ works the doing of the goodthrough the power of the WORD.

John 15:5-15

Abide in Christ

Keep a firm hold on the Savior

Remain implanted into the True Vine

Bear Fruit

Love goes beyond words.

Love does not just confront others with their problems;

Love helps carry the weight of their burdens.

We can tell about the love of Jesus;

We can show the love of Jesus.

Micah 6:8

God desires that we

• treat others responsibly.

• demonstrate mercy toward others.

• fully rely on Him!

1 John 4:7-21

Beloved, Let us love one another, because love is of God,

and every one that loves is born of God and

knows God.

God sent down His only begotten Son from Heaven,

from everlasting bliss,Into this world.

Jesus came to this world of sin, corruption, death,

in order that we lost and condemned sinners

might have life—true, spiritual, eternal life,

through Him and in Him.

A gift of God’s free love and mercy,

not that we loved God, but that He loved us and

sent His Son as propitiation for

our sins.
